This pairs really well with Project Summer Car (with its own repair options enabled)
Vanyor 31 OCT a las 12:32
@SP4RTAN Np! Thanks for considering it anyway. I couldn't find a mod for it in b42 but not a big deal rn. In any case, thanks for the mod!
SP4RTAN  [autor] 31 OCT a las 12:23
@Vanyor - that's a bit out of scope for this mod and I believe there are mods available that allow you to do what you're asking.
Vanyor 31 OCT a las 9:55
Hello! Thanks for the mod!

Would it be possible to remove/ uninstall engines from a car and install on another one? I kinda want to use the Ambulance engines on other Franklin Valuline since they are the same type for example. Or just make a Standard, Heavy-Duty and Sports variants to make it simple.

In any case, thanks for the mod!
Lui-G 29 OCT a las 4:18
@SP4RTAN - hehe yeah, those days will remain in memories now, gotta find another way tho :P, beside that, thank you for this awesome mod ^^
SP4RTAN  [autor] 29 OCT a las 3:57
@Lui-G - oh haha I had no idea you could do that. Yeah that shouldn't be possible anymore
Lui-G 29 OCT a las 3:51
Thank you for the response, but what i meant to say was that when the seat reach 100% condition, you were able to keep repairing it, so you power-level tailoring+mechanic skills with only one seat and a lot of ripped sheets, denim, leather or thread
SP4RTAN  [autor] 28 OCT a las 19:52
Wow Steam removed a link that goes to their own website lol.

Use the Easy Engine Rebuild mod on B41
SP4RTAN  [autor] 28 OCT a las 19:42
@Dume - Engine rebuilding was never integrated into the B41 version, only B42. If you want engine rebuilding in B41 just use the {ENLACE ELIMINADO} mod

@Lui-G - I mean you can. But same as before, the more you repair something the less effective it is. I only removed ripped sheets as a repair option for windows.
Dume 28 OCT a las 18:37
"Fixed Engine Rebuild sandbox option not working" Can't see any sandbox option for engine rebuild in B41, is this apart of the mod now in B42?
Lui-G 28 OCT a las 17:14
So.. we can no longer repair seats with ripped sheets indefinitely?

UPDATE 51...

Check the changelog for details

Mostly bugfixes
SP4RTAN  [autor] 28 OCT a las 7:27
Put this below any car mods
reanimated6 28 OCT a las 7:10
Like Project RV Interior f.ex
reanimated6 28 OCT a las 7:06
Thanks!! Any mod load order for this combo? and what about other carmods?
SP4RTAN  [autor] 28 OCT a las 2:59
@reanimated6 - works fine with Project Summer Car. It's just not compatible with the Engine Rebuild feature which is automatically disabled if you have Project Summer Car enabled anyway.
reanimated6 28 OCT a las 2:53
So after reading a bit of the comments am I correct to assume this is incompatible with Project Summer Car?
SP4RTAN  [autor] 27 OCT a las 16:01
So I really can't find any cases where no repair option shows up for a part at all like @leobet2me mentioned. The only time the "Repair" option shouldn't show up at all is if the part you're trying to repair is already at 100% condition, or if support for that vehicle/part hasn't been added. I'm only aware of one bug which prevents repairs, which I confirmed the other day, where you have to have all the required items for the repair in your main inventory and not something like a backpack. I'm guessing this is the issue people are referring to. This fix for that will be out tomorrow.

If you do have all the required items in your main inventory and the condition is below 100% and you still can't repair a part, let me know.
SP4RTAN  [autor] 27 OCT a las 14:24
@Venus - I haven't released any of the fixes yet haha
Venus 27 OCT a las 14:16
Just like the problem he described:"IF I RIGHT CLICK ON THE HOOD I CANT REPAIR IT. I ONLY GET THE OPTION TO UNISTALL PARTS BUT NOTHING OF THE BODYWORK PART".I just tried it again and it seems to be fine now. Have you already fixed it?
SP4RTAN  [autor] 27 OCT a las 14:09
@Venus - and what's the problem you're having?
Venus 27 OCT a las 14:05
Finally, I've identified that this mod is the cause of the problem. I'm looking forward to your prompt fix. Thank you and thank you very much.

@all — Huge shoutout to Sp4rtan, who’s been putting in extra hours and doing an amazing job with the new code! 🚀

He’s successfully moved most of the mod over to Lua, which should make it much easier for other modders to ensure compatibility with VRO.

If any of you “car manufacturers” need help adding repairs to your vehicles, don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re happy to help.

We also really appreciate everyone reporting bugs — your feedback is invaluable. The Tuesday update should address many of the current issues.

Please continue posting any new bugs in the “Bug Reports In Here” forum so we can keep this discussion clean and focus on fixing issues for future updates.
SP4RTAN  [autor] 26 OCT a las 17:01
The mod ID's for both mods changed. You just need to enable them again
Arsham 26 OCT a las 16:17
hey there SP4RTAN! same here. Two mods of yours disappeared. thanks for the mods btw!
ろろのあ ゾろ 26 OCT a las 15:40
When I went to open the game today, it appeared that your mod and another one disappeared
leobet2me 26 OCT a las 14:52
IF I RIGHT CLICK ON THE HOOD I CANT REPAIR IT. I ONLY GET THE OPTION TO UNISTALL PARTS BUT NOTHING OF THE BODYWORK PART. I USED TO BE ABLE TO REPAIR THEM LAST WEEK. I M DRIVING A B700 TRUCK
SP4RTAN  [autor] 26 OCT a las 7:55
Both of these issues will be fixed Tuesday
Perflexed 26 OCT a las 7:45
I should note that I'm using the B42 version in singleplayer.
Perflexed 26 OCT a las 7:36
I'm unable to repair stuff after the first repair. I repaired the hood on my tow truck just fine. Now every repair option is red even though it also shows that I have all of the necessary requirements. This is the same for every part on every vehicle including the one I just successfully repaired.
卡兰 26 OCT a las 6:19
The function of rebuilding engine quality seems to be ineffective, even though I have enabled the relevant options 囧
SP4RTAN  [autor] 26 OCT a las 2:32
Yeah you have to have all the required items in your main inventory at the moment. The fix for it will be out on Tuesday
/ 26 OCT a las 2:28
for me after i re enabled it even if i have the materials to repair a part it shows up red like i dont
SP4RTAN  [autor] 26 OCT a las 0:39
Maybe I'll do some tests but it seems more like it was just B42 weirdness. Everyone had to re-enable the mod after the last update and if this was a common occurrence I'd have a lot of angry people in the comments
haypo 26 OCT a las 0:29
I know, I don't get it either but I was working on my car when I realised it wasn't activated, closed my save, activated it and when I hit accept in the mods a bunch of map mods were missing. It took me ages to get them reactivated because every time I press auto sort in load order it would deactivate them again. Then when I did get into my save I hadn't noticed it had deactivated half my mods.

I realise it doesn't make sense but I literally did nothing else
SP4RTAN  [autor] 26 OCT a las 0:28
The mod load order bug is a vanilla bug. That will happen any time you try to change the load order of a mod list that's missing mods. If you open the mod manager in the main menu and see that mods are missing, save the mods as a new mod list, enable the list, re-enable any mods that were deactivated and then change the load order and save the list again.
SP4RTAN  [autor] 26 OCT a las 0:23
@haypo - there's nothing in this mod that would deactivate other mods. No idea why that would happen.
haypo 26 OCT a las 0:11
It also caused mod load order to bug out and not work?
haypo 26 OCT a las 0:09
When i reactivated this after the update it deactivated a whole bunch of other mods so when i loaded into my save everything was gone/changed.

The Fix-A-flat
Ordinary_Man 26 OCT a las 0:06
@SP4RTAN what item is that?
thanks for the mod and fast communication, btw
Skeletor 25 OCT a las 23:34
@SP4RTAN no prob, bob.
SP4RTAN  [autor] 25 OCT a las 23:19
There's one item it adds that you can find and use for repairs but if your game crashes it should be fine
Ordinary_Man 25 OCT a las 23:14
@SP4RTAN
After I sent my comment, tried again, and finally got it working.
It looks like it ignored Repair Overhaul in preset, when I tried to applied preset to the save, but when I applied the preset and after that re-enabled the mod, it seems to be working.
Btw, I'm new to the mod, and haven't tried it yet, are there any items that mod adds and that could go missing, when save crashes? Or are there just the recipes?
SP4RTAN  [autor] 25 OCT a las 23:11
Are you able to make a new save without any issues?
Ordinary_Man 25 OCT a las 23:08
@SP4RTAN
I did that, both for save and in preset, still nothing.
In preset it shows as if it was enabled, but when, e.g., choosing the preset, it shows warning that the mod is missing.
In save, it either shows that the mod is missing, or one time managed to just skip warnings and start the save without the mod (repair options were gone).
SP4RTAN  [autor] 25 OCT a las 23:02
The B42 mod ID changed in the last update. Just find the mods in the mod list again and re-enable them
Ordinary_Man 25 OCT a las 23:00
Something got updated overnight and for some reason Repair Overhaul is missing, when loading the save or choosing the preset with it.
Tried re-subscribing, deleting the mod directory and re-downloading, verifying game files - nothing.
SP4RTAN  [autor] 25 OCT a las 20:12
@Ninscha - click the link, then click the green code button, download the zip and extract it. From there it's up to you because I don't know how your server is set up.
