See here: Config error in InsPAMod_Apparel_HotLocustArmor: InsPAMod_Apparel_HotLocustArmor apparel has no layers . That also applies to Cold Locust Armor, all of the Reconnaisance Armor, and all of the Prestige Armor.
This causes Pawns to be unable to wear it to protect their bodies, and they will constantly put on multiple instances of it.
The Non-Power Armors are not working right and give the protection of cloth, regardless of material you make the insulation out of.
The power armors are inferior to CE power armor but still power armor.
Example : Marine Armor > Plasteel
Cloth insulated Marine armor > cloth.
good news is disabling this mod didn't damaged save file
Which DLC do you use?
I see spam of ArgumentOutOfRangeException in the log, but can't say anything more, this is the only clothing mod I use
Regarding making armor stuffable, insulated armor is stuffable, but the only stuff you can pick is the insulating fabric. The material for the rest of the armor (ie plasteel, uranium, etc) is not changeable.
i get why it works the way it does, and the best solution i can see is to have the insulated require the same amount of plasteel as the base armour requires metal, and giving it the same armour stats as the vanilla armour, perhaps with a steel variant as well. this gets into awkward balance and user experience territory though, so i'm not sure it's a good idea.
