Also for the folder, Gmod uses the .gma format for the addons, and stores in the content/4000 folder under their respective addon id (Which is the last few numbers of the page URL), so you cannot really edit them directly.

If you really want to get the file of it, then you might want to subs and install the addon, then navigate to the folder I mentioned for the file, or just use gmpublisher to download it straight by copy and pasting the url of this mod there.

This is a really interesting mod, and in my opinion, is extremely accurate to how the SMG should (in my opinion) look in game, as the combine/universal union has access to much better weaponary, this is evident from the pulse rifle, so, in my opinion, the smg should look like this in the half life universe. Alongside a redesign of the Pistol.
TLDR: This addon is cool and the design should be canon.

Well this addon is an old one, so I dunno if I can still update it.

Neo, this tfa swep is the only swep that creates such a error when used by npcs. all other weapons never create such error, infact the npcs use tfa sweps just perfectly. this is an smg based of the orginal half life smg but improved. people will likely to use it on npcs. the error is probably caused with the muzzle effect as its not being available for npcs. you have to either disable it when used by npcs

I get this error when I give the weapon to an npc, it happens whenever the weapon is shot by an npc

Yeah that's the one iirc.
But you might have to bind it first in the settings, as z is the undo button for Gmod by default.
Personally I just bind it to my middle mouse button.
