No problem, I hope that one day they add the compatibility since it is possible using other applications

Ah darn. Thank you for the explanation though.

Unfortunately not, the backgrounds compatible with the mobile are those of the scene or video type and this is of web type

Is there any way that this can be made compatible with mobile? I was saddened to see that I was unable to send it to wallpaper engine on my phone.

Sorry for the delay, the scroll bars are gone, I don't really know why Wallpaper Engine changed the way the canvas is rendered but now it won't happen again. Thanks for liking my wallpaper <3

Finally! I was trying to figure out what was causing this scroll bar. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. I can't stand it. I'm using another background until this is resolved. Thanks!

@Splappy: I contacted the dev of Wallpaper Engine about this a while ago. The issue turned out to be that this wallpaper exceeds the size of the screen slightly. A recent update of WE changed the browser component and it seems the old one didn't show scrollbars in this scenario, while the new one does. I solved it by reverting to the (then) previous version of WE. I think it's called "last version to work with Win7" or someting like that.

I checked the github for this wallpaper and an update there from last year has "solved canvas overflow" as the comment, so I expect that will fix it for newer WE versions. I don't know why it's not being updated here as well. I've been meaning to try to manually update the wallpaper based on the github repository, but since using the older version of Wallpaper Engine already solved it for me I haven't gotten around to it.

There's a small scroll bar stuck on the right. Is that just an issue with me?

On the wallpaper engine app select this wallpaper and then at the right there's a panel with the configuration

Unfortunately, web wallpapers are not available on mobile phones, I'm not sure if this wallpaper can be done as a scene
Emu the Emo 27 Nov, 2021 @ 7:03pm
i love this wallpaper, but now that the mobile app is out im looking for something similar to this that has mobile support too

You're welcome ^^ I'm glad you like the wallpaper
Mascot 17 Jun, 2021 @ 8:52pm
Thank you so much. Both for a great wallpaper and snappy help. :)
Jayex Designs  [author] 17 Jun, 2021 @ 5:46pm
Done, there's now slider that controls the fps limit, if for any reason you want to add a value that is not in the range you can write it and it will change to it
Jayex Designs  [author] 17 Jun, 2021 @ 2:34pm
Oh yeah, I will search how to do it and upload when I have it, thanks for the feedback
Mascot 17 Jun, 2021 @ 11:17am
Would it be possible to get a max FPS setting added to this? I'm running it on two screens and it's taking 30-40% of my 2080ti. I don't really need it to run at 144 FPS, 60 would be more than enough.
Jayex Designs  [author] 15 May, 2021 @ 9:48pm
Unfortunately, it's not possible, I did that with a editing program, making it work that way would require to code an entire new wallpaper, sorry
Dann 15 May, 2021 @ 7:57pm
Is it possible to get the wallpaper to look like the first screenshot? as in stripes with 5 different background colours at once?
Jayex Designs  [author] 13 May, 2021 @ 10:52am
Thank You! ^^
Kreydel 13 May, 2021 @ 10:42am
good job man:steamthumbsup:
Jayex Designs  [author] 8 May, 2021 @ 9:46pm
Yeah it should be working fine now

Haha np fam, did you upload the change yet?
Jayex Designs  [author] 7 May, 2021 @ 10:48pm
Your solution works flawlessly, I never would've thought doing square roots would drop that bad the performance
Jayex Designs  [author] 7 May, 2021 @ 9:56pm
I'll investigate more on this, thanks ^^

I'm not sure about that; for this type of project my mind goes to p5.js which should use webgl; this is using a decent amount of GPU so i assume its good already
Jayex Designs  [author] 7 May, 2021 @ 9:42pm
Alright! thank you so much for the info :D, I will start to work on that now, also do you know if javascript default canvas uses the webgl API?
◱Ⲩ⡎␠⾽⍒⇘⦈λ⢤⏚ 7 May, 2021 @ 9:34pm
Also, you should avoid that method of calculating distance all together, as it uses sqrt (it calls abs which is this https://i.imgur.com/qhiIDNV.png) . A better option to set the distance to (x1 - x2) ^ 2 + (y1 - y2) ^ 2 and square the comparason radius, and only take the sqrt of that value when the fastDistance is <= 50 ^ 2 (or whatever distance you decide, currently its 50) so you only run sqrt operations when its nessary to create the interpolated color

Assuming JS doesn't optimize this on it's own, it looks like you could reduce the speed of the distance calculations by three by creating a variable; https://i.imgur.com/BO8hj87.png
Jayex Designs  [author] 7 May, 2021 @ 9:07pm
Thank You ^^
I have thought about adding that but the problem is that changing that property has a very high impact on performance, my idea is to create a section of advanced settings that people can change knowing the consequences
◱Ⲩ⡎␠⾽⍒⇘⦈λ⢤⏚ 7 May, 2021 @ 8:59pm
Pog, absolutely stunning. Only sugestion would be the ability to change the line connection distance/opacity curve
Jayex Designs  [author] 7 May, 2021 @ 7:33pm
Done, the particles now should disapear outside the screen
Jayex Designs  [author] 7 May, 2021 @ 7:01pm
Yeah, give me a bit and I fix that
◱Ⲩ⡎␠⾽⍒⇘⦈λ⢤⏚ 7 May, 2021 @ 7:00pm
can you make it so particles delete a bit offscreen because they disappear at the sides of the screen and its jarring
