can the zombies actually get you if the Commando APC damaged enough? Found the Police version and got it running which OMG THAT THING IS VERY HARD TO BREAK!

great job, really like this mod.
I think i will leave it more as a decoration and dont use the veichle for now, for me it feels a bit op.
it would be cool if it was very hard and rare to find it in good condition and reparinig it and make it move wolud become a rewarding quest. As for now ive found it in perfect condition with a full tank on parking lot and hotwired it and it feels too easy for such a good veichle.
Also i think it should feel slower and heavier to compensate its great protection.

I found one and its completely stripped. I didnt start the save with the Library requirement. Am I able to just add it into my saves modlist?

I don't remember but you can just use a jerry can to fuel the car, which will lead you to -exactly- where you need to go to pump fuel

Is this mod broken? Uninstalled the door to repair it, and it was a regular standard type door. And when I tried to reinstall it again, it asked for a commando door; you can't even craft the vehicle parts.

I solved this problem by simply editing the armor file, and now my car ignores damage from zombies

my windows just shattered from crashing zombies, EVERY SINGLE ONE! how, why?

This thing is a beast but not op, it should not revieve dmg from zomboids, these kind of vehicles do not get dmg from flesh and bones

this car is over powerd i killed like 700 zeds before the engine died

@Argonaut_jay here's a basic workaround, you take a wrench, and you pry the door off like an alpha male. (use vehicle mechanics menu)

Is there a customization option that gets rid of opening doors and stuff like that, because it doesn't match a lot of other vehicle mods I have.

If the doors on this are locked, and there's no key around, how can we access it since we can't just break a window?

You can still get hit by the Expanded Helicopters Military helicopter firing at you even if you are inside the Cage Commando.

No idea what kind of armor it is supposed to have, maybe its just light armor and those bullets the chopper fires would penetrate that armor anyway?

But it would be VERY nice it it could protect you from that chopper while inside the commando :P

Can I only craft the toolbox lid, hood and viewports or are there other craftable parts? It's hard to come by spare parts.

After all the playtime I've had with this vehicle...I do feel it should be much harder to repair because even with low vehicle durability in settings and mods to make finding fully repair vehicles near impossible, You can still find on of these if you know where to look real easy and when it's near 100% repaired...Well it's OP and the feeling of "YES! I repaired this and the reward is incredible power" But no, I never feel that.
True I could just uninstall and not use the Commando but I don't feel that to be the correct answer for me saying it's to easy to fix, Even the runflats can be found easily in warhouses.

After real life months of PZ with this mod active in many different games of incresing difficulty's....I've FINALLY found a Commando which has a turret which I'm damn happy about...Now I'm just sad it can't fire and no mods have made the addon to allow it to fire...

I can't get this to work in multiplayer. I have it installed and enabled and I'm running 41.77

I am a bit confused about the damage taken by this vehicle. I did run thru a couple of zombies and way not expecting damage on an "armored" vehicle. The I did run into a stop sign and way left with only 30% left on my engine.
isn`t the purpose of a armored vehicle that it takes no damage from "soft" targets?
I also would love if you could open a hatch als fire from a safe spot.

I am also looking for the bushmaster, but that is a rare creature in the game. I have not found one yet.
