I think, you don't get the workshop at all. If you want to comment on all work that's not as good as Corodium's Asiimov skins or similar, you have to go to nearly 35k pages. I know, my work is no challenge for the elite artists at the workshop. And I never wanted to challenge them.
I was just playing around and trying out the possibilities and finally put some of it on the workshop. And achieving - like with this skin 4 stars out of 118 votes - much more than I ever expected, it makes me proud.
Don't get me wrong, I'm totally fine, if you don't like my work and vote it down and give a comment like "don't like it / boring / white-orange again? / whatever".
But don't say things like "seems like minimal effort was put into making it".
That hurts.
Noone wants to read comments like that. Don't be this kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ teacher. Especially if you haven't done something by yourself.

Peter, Everyone's trying to do designs like this because they think it's easy and stuff like the Asiimov can relate to it, if you're serious about trying to get a gun many more people will like, Go for something detailed and in depth, or something that no-one could have seen coming.
