i was..... smh lol im no rookie here, check the stats mate and my records

Even the best of us can occasionally misread or skip something, or even forget to check something critical like a plug socket or charger cable actually being connected. Troubleshooting includes all steps, even if they seem redundant or 'obvious' to you, and can still be helpful for others to see.

Your statistics about time spent on a game doesn't make you an expert, or really tell us anything beyond how long Steam thinks you had a piece of software running (you might have been asleep, or left it running whilst you went on a holiday for a week).

My mother uses her mobile phone a lot, but she can barely install an app, and doesn't know what a widget is... and despite thousands of hours over many years of driving, still bumps kerbs when taking corners. :steamhappy:

Unfortunately you can't use two sets of props simultaneously, so those would have to be placed manually anyway, and therefore wouldn't function as the automatically placed barriers do - you can simply use Procedural Objects to mirror one of the rural barriers (SN CAN Barrier 10 - 12) for the equivalent effect.

It more for when you have a wide road and you need the barrier to cover the whole width.

As far as I'm aware these barriers do not exist anywhere with LHT, so I'd need to see a usecase.

What would it take to get the same items created for this pack but for the left side of the road?

If you're certain you've set RWY Replacer to use the Canadian barriers, there is a bug where it doesn't always update junctions correctly - as far as I'm aware there's no fix, but it should update after a bit.

If you haven't specifically set the mod to use Canadian barriers then you need to, as it still uses vanilla barriers by default.
joshuascartown 21 Jun, 2021 @ 6:05am
i used the replacer tho..., i build a railway that crosses a road and the vanilla crossing just appears... nothing speical
Strategy Nerd  [author] 19 Jun, 2021 @ 12:33pm
When placed as props they will not light up/drop barriers, you must replace the vanilla barriers in the Railway Replacer mod so that these are placed automatically at rail crossings.

If you mean the brightness of the lights, that will be addressed in an upcoming update - even this is identical to the US barriers, however; the only difference between the packs is the crossbuck and # tracks sign.

why dont they have the lights, they even llook differenet in the game :(

I AM CANADIAN... i dont want to use the AMERICAN ONES lol

On my side, I would like way more brighter, as much we can have like the vanillas or the Swiss can do so I won't be interested by a local copy of the dimmer version. Maybe some other ?
Thanks. :)
Strategy Nerd  [author] 6 Apr, 2021 @ 1:06pm
If you'd like I can notify you before I change them so you can create a local copy of these, but the difference is small enough that it would add unnecessary complexity more than anything.

Is it possible to have an option or a choice for brighter or dimmer ones, please ? Let players choose witch one they want ?
Strategy Nerd  [author] 4 Apr, 2021 @ 10:41pm
They could definitely be brighter - they were initially too bright so I dimmed them, but I think I did over-correct a bit - if I have enough spare time I'll definitely adjust them.

Hey,
About some comments regarding the lights, I think there is something to dig on this topic. I noticed that the Swiss and NSW signals were much brighter. 🤔
Nice job with nice variations and customizations available, tho.

I'm exited when they add The LRC
Strategy Nerd  [author] 2 Sep, 2020 @ 7:04pm
"Soon" being a relative term, probably. (UP Express & several signal & rail-related packs first, in no particular order)
Redstone 2 Sep, 2020 @ 6:49pm
Wait a second, do I sense some VIA Trains coming soon?
Strategy Nerd  [author] 2 Sep, 2020 @ 9:02am
Wouldn't it be great if I was planning on making some VIA trains too?
Redstone 1 Sep, 2020 @ 9:12pm
What's the point of Canadian rail barriers of there aren't VIA Rail trains on the Workshop. Just kidding, this is a great prop pack. Nice to see the official railway crossing barriers of my country finally on the Workshop.
FAILZORD 31 Aug, 2020 @ 2:05pm
Wow, such great work and detail to Canadian spe...wait a minute, this ain't Canadian!
Where is the Tim Hortons cups discarded around the posts?
Where's the Canadian geese droppings on the bars?
Where's the bite marks from a ponderous drunk beaver?
Where's the dent from the frustrated moose?
Canadian official specs my ass, DOWNVOTE!

Just kidding, excellent job!
Strategy Nerd  [author] 30 Aug, 2020 @ 2:54pm
Haha don't worry, it's just a running joke
tonycoolbek 30 Aug, 2020 @ 2:36pm
Hmm they do light but it is very dim......hopefully one day they could be brighter and flash back and forward? Still gets a thumbs up form me....and pfff who thumbs down because of water or sewage....the lights deserve that not some stupid mechanic everyone ignores anyways lol
Strategy Nerd  [author] 30 Aug, 2020 @ 10:20am
:(
Danoir_ 30 Aug, 2020 @ 10:18am
dosent work with catenary replacer, also doesn't produce water OR clean sewagE! downvoet
Strategy Nerd  [author] 30 Aug, 2020 @ 9:31am
They do indeed work! One of the great things about the traffic light shader. :lunar2019grinningpig:

Both USA & CAN barrier packs are made to official spec - the crossbucks could be used to replace a real one!
tonycoolbek 30 Aug, 2020 @ 9:25am
Hmm do the lights not work? Will that be added in a future update?
The crosses really do have a Canadian feel to them!
