Yep rescue is part of the mission pool and you can chose how you execute the mission. Helo medivac, infantry with CAS support, etc.

I’ve included an infantry fire team that’s playable in the BOO, lots of different missions in the pool that are randomly picked every round you play. There are vehicles for VTOL airlift or Huron sling loading. It’s all there.

It has helo insertions, nap of the earth insertions and rescue missions and hot medevacs, is it posible to make something similar with Drongo's map population? Unfortunately it doesn't work too well now, last update was in 2016...
I'll do it myself, but I'm very intimidated by the editor...

So using DCE (drongo's command enhancement) mod, which is required anyway. If you open the DCE unit, along the bottom there are function buttons. On the right side (next to the exit button) is ViewDistance+ and ViewDistance- buttons.

My pre flight check list is open DCE, set my markers ON, squad markers ON, and view distance to 5100 before jumping into Air Vehicles.

Regarding specs they're listed on my steam profile.

InsurgentOps is not AI heavy, really made for local host SP fun.
But hang in there the Malden AirOps is almost done. Should be up tonight actually, it was 80% complete. I've scaled the AI down made it as local host friendly as a dynamic AirOps mission can be haha

Also since I like air missions and need visibility what mods do you recommend for viewdistance?
I'm using Dynamic View Distance by Lawrence...

BTW what are your specs? I normally get between no less than 25-30 on heavy AI missions, but on official missions I get between 35-50 (no lower than 30)
Will the air ops one will be heavy on a quad-core from 2013? (haswell)

@Gideon, yes definitely the InsurgentOps are local host friendly!
They are all CQB town/factory style missions that spawn in roughly 30-50 enemy AI.
Very light, I get 70-90fps when I test/play in local host.

A lite AirOps can definitely be done mate. Look out for it over the next week or so. I'll make it on Malden for a smaller AO.

But regardless, give this one a go too, it has ALL NATO assets plus the Kajman because why not! All ready to go on the Carrier.
Even though Altis is a big AO, the spawn rates are reasonably small with very few infantry (to save on AI calcs). It's mainly vehicle assets that will spawn in, so hopefully the frames won't be too bad...

Otherwise yeh look out for another AirOps on Malden coming soon, with the same pool of missions as this one. Will have all the assets for all the fun as well

Hey, are this scenarios compatible with single player? I am mainly interested in the insurgent ones.

Also I would like to request a light Air Ops scenario for use in Local server, with possibility to use the wipeout or the various nato choppers. I ask this because all randomized missions that involved air assets are either broken or no longer supported. You could make them in any official terrain you want, I'm starving for those missions :steamsad:

I mainly ask you these missions because I can't play multiplayer, I want to go my own pace and also my connection is lame, with extreme lag spikes.

If not, can you recommend me some missions?
