also remembered before some scetchy calcualtions of "yields with gathering inspiration type ... mining inspiration bamboozled my steel mining then i wasnt paying attention ... i always upon fresh run open number generator and randomise all storyteller values ... rolled 263% mining yield + 114% from skill and bam 60steel from tile ... lmao i got 50% mroe with half crippled dwarf pawn without inspiration .... more like if set to 50% "increase it has that value to base coded 60pieces from steel tile lmao not accounting for your storyteller setting NICE ONE ...

Alr my bad then. It's been a very long time since the incident. I think i uploaded a picture of my save... dying, but noob me back then didn't knew uploading saves was a thing.

@Rovstam if you end up using this mod again and encounter any more bugs I’m happy to try figure out the cause, but without further information it’s hard to diagnose what happened to your save :)

Just to chime in a little. I use both this mod and Common Sense and don't seem to be having any issues.

but i remember removed other mod and it started a time bomb which resulted in said save, getting nuked. Sorry for not elaborating further. I am just saying what should be known.

I mean, once removed. If you just play with this mod, it's alright i guess. As i said, i do not have any evidence and won't have, but there was a time that this mod annihilated one of my saves.

@Rovstam Can I ask what the interaction is with Common Sense that was causing problems? Its briefly included in the mod description, but I recommend using the Debug Tool I added wtith this mod to remove any inspirations from your pawns first before you remove it from a save.

It'll only brick your save on removal if there are any pawns, including pawns not currently on the map or part of your faction, that have one of this mod's inspirations. Like most mods that adds things to the game, removing a mod mid playthrough is always sketchy and always has a chance to brick your save, especially if you don't take precautions around removing it.

As for the Common Sense interaction, details on what happened and logs would be useful to the mod author, I suspect. Saying just "it broke and destroyed my save" is essentially worthless for the purposes of identifying and fixing said bug, if there is one.

@SzantoJozsef I wasn't able to replicate the gaining of growth points (this still worked fine for me) but the growth tier not using the boosted numbers correctly has been fixed now. I had incorrectly assumed how Harmony was letting me access some values and I was overriding them instead of incrementing them. Thank you for bringing this to my attention (and let me know if you continue to have problems with gaining growth points)

@MrT My patch to have my inspirations use Synergistic Traits wasn't working due to some name changes in my mod. This error is fixed now :)

@SzantoJozsef Inspired Growth can now be disabled within the config menu, I'd forgotten to increase the menu's height when adding a new inspiration

even after removing the inspiration with dev tools, and using godmode to manually set growth tier to 8, i could only choose 1 out of 1 traits, and 2 out of 3 passions instead of the normal number at tier 8 or the extras the grwoth inspiration is meant to provide

inspired growth bugged out for me, the pawn got inspired growth at tier 2 and stopped getting points in growth he was stuck at 2, it also does not show up in the inspiration tweaks settings menu where inspirations could be enabled or disabled.

@bofa I just got the same issue, was digging through dub's performance monitor to figure out why my game was hitching and need_mood was taking 4ms alone. i checked one of my pawns and they had psychic sooth focus x100 and it nearly locked up the game just by opening the mood menu.

I killed the inspiration with debug mode and the game stopped hitching so that was 100% the cause.

Psychic soothe focus seems to have some sort of issue. It applies the mood buff every few ticks and causes immense lag for me. Anyone can attest if this isn't just my setup?

@Vitakaninen, thank you for that. I did look in the mod options and saw no such options at all despite the mod's description suggesting otherwise.

After reading your comment, however, I looked again. This mod has two entirely different options menus and I didn't notice that the first time.

Would you consider adding to options a way to disable the Psychic sooth inspiration? It is way too overpowered in a colony with a lot of psycasters. Right now I have pawns with over +150 to their mood purely from that inspiration being on other pawns.

Sorry for the wait, I've released a 1.5 version. Finished with my dissertation now so I'll be able to dedicate some time to fixing errors/bugs that pop up :D

@Ti_Ableton, it does work without issue when added to an in-progress play through.

Don't add it until it actually gets an update though, if you are on version 1.5. It completely breaks the game.

Yep, that's the main reason I used this mod, @Abacaxique.

What I've done in the interim, until this mod hopefully gets updated, is remove all of the mod files except the inspiration patch file that raises minimum skill levels for inspirations from 3 to 8. That patch file, I just edited it to delete the whole bottom section (which is specific to this mod), and left in the skill changes.

It's working great to make sure only my appropriately skilled people get the appropriate inspirations.

@jaggid yeah I noticed and had to disable it. It's sad seeing my colonists with animals 3 getting inspired taming. And the ones with animals 20 getting inspired surgery.
