@Sunbach
I don't think so, I think it would have been mentioned here or in the Highlander's Change Notes
Sunbach 10 iun. 2024 la 5:41
does the latest highlander version include this fix? seem like it should and if it does then I can safely remove this mod

Hopefully I didn't miss anything, but here's the added config I could find for the LW gauntlet targeting abilities.

+RocketsToAlter=HeavyArmaments
+RocketsToAlter=LWRocketLauncher
+RocketsToAlter=LWBlasterLauncher
+RocketsToAlter=BunkerBuster
+RocketsToAlter=ConcussionRocket

Literally exactly what I was looking for! The janky rocket launcher was infuriating me to no end. Wish I could kiss you!

@hottt3 yes, its listed as a companion mod on the page in fact :steamthumbsup:
hottt3 16 nov. 2022 la 16:02
Is it applicable to [WOTC] Disposable Rocket Launchers 3.1
https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2571476425 ?
Thanks!

I'll be honest I haven't tried to alter Gauntlet Rocket targeting with this mod, but in case of the other stuff;

;added config for Bio Division 2.0, phase drones, bitterfrost
+RocketsToAlter=Ability_BioRocket
+RocketsToAlter=PsiDroneLauncher
+RocketsToAlter=MZCryoLauncher
+RocketsToAlter=SparkMZCryoLauncher

@Sevolund
So the rocket from the Gauntlet from the Combat Engineer Proficiency Class is its own thing and uses a different target method.
This mod by default only takes into account the Heavy Weapons rocket.
It does however have an expandable config that you can add 'other' rockets too, such as the mentioned Gauntlet Rocket, Bio Divisions Acid Rocket and Bitterfrost Protocol's Frost Rocket.
Sevolund 14 iul. 2022 la 21:49
@mario taking a piss
I thought the same, but after disabling the mod, the preview of my rockets are still buggy.
I only checked with the gauntlet on a custom class tho', the combat engineer - I dont have the classical classes anymore.
Maybe you too ?

I dont know where the problem comes from and it drives me nuts.

I'm not sure if it's because of another mod already fixing it or something, but this makes rocket targeting massively worse for me.
Latis 25 dec. 2021 la 11:54
@sgt.Hobo how i add the rockes to the ini file?
Riekopo 19 dec. 2021 la 23:19
Shouldn't this be in the Community Highlander? It sounds like a bugfix.
Kenzo 4 dec. 2021 la 15:42
Nice! Vanilla rockets suck so hard.
TheDuke37 12 nov. 2021 la 18:59
this mod also seems to make Phase-Blink act like rocket in terms of targeting.

Hi. I just want to report that I am having multiple issues whereby low cover still blocks LOS using rockets to a desired area. I've noticed it happens a lot on ADVENT facility maps where the metal low cover walls block the rocket launcher's LOS. I've stopped using rocket launchers on almost all of my sappers/heavy weapon armors because of this. Thanks.
Iridar 8 aug. 2021 la 3:27
@Sgt. Hobo
Use my standalone Scatter Mod. Eventually I plan to update the Rocket Launchers mod to work with the Scatter Mod anyway.
Sgt. Hobo 6 mart. 2021 la 16:10
Hi, I'm using this with lwotc. I added lwrockets to the config and its working. Only thing I'm noticing is the LW rockets don't have scatter. I'm also using RL2.0 and those do have scatter. So yeah, any way to add scatter to the targeting?
Nicious 26 oct. 2020 la 14:11
Without this mod, Skirmisher with missile arm launcher cannot shoot missile when it stands behind the low cover. lol
EvilPolygons 20 sept. 2020 la 15:20
@RealityMachina
Thank you for this. LOS being blocked by low cover is so incredibly frustrating.
juhamac 2 sept. 2020 la 2:38
Not needed with LW2/LWOTC (Technicals use different targeting method).
kelmenwong 21 iul. 2020 la 7:14
does this fix apply for advent (enemy) side as well?
Bantichai 26 mai 2020 la 5:59
I'm interested in commissioning a mod, basically I'm wondering if it is possible to completely disable the Avatar Project (WOTC) but still allow the chosen to attack the player and to trigger the avenger defense missions (vanilla too). There is a mod that completely disables the avatar project but I found out that none of the avenger defense misions trigger and so without it, there is no "danger" at all to the player in the sense that there are no lose conditions other than failing the main missions. Still having the avenger defense missions added a sense of pressure to the game.

I might have to give my sparks their bits again! I edited them out forever ago because of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ rocket aiming.
Azure 1 mai 2020 la 15:48
So nice to fire a Spark rocket and not have it hit the first low object.
Giant Hat 21 apr. 2020 la 4:33
Still making must-have mods, I see.
RealityMachina  [autor] 20 apr. 2020 la 16:32
Nope, Iridar's rockets being far more easy to aim is what got me started on making this mod for the other rocket weapons.
Zigg Price 20 apr. 2020 la 16:21
If we are using Iridar's Rocket launcher mod(s,) do we need this mod?
Vullcan 20 apr. 2020 la 12:45
Perfect
GreatOldOne 20 apr. 2020 la 4:36
So (for the dumb people like me) this fixes the "Low cover of any kind blocks rocket shots - that's kind of dumb" right?
RealityMachina  [autor] 19 apr. 2020 la 23:19
The actual highlander fix is specifically that it fixed the problem where you could aim anywhere due to the game not properly checking blocking cover if a unit could peek from cover for a shot.

SPARK rocket launcher targeting is essentially indicative of how it's *supposed* to work, without any further alterations.

This mod makes it so the fix for blocking cover is still there, it just changes how the game handles calculating line of sight checks so you're less likely to be boned by your own half cover when aiming a vanilla rocket attack.
Deadput 19 apr. 2020 la 23:00
Sorry if I'm misunderstanding but are you saying this mod is already included in the Highlander and thus no need to download it separately?
RealityMachina  [autor] 19 apr. 2020 la 22:03
Yeah, it's a seperate targeting method that just re-implements the bugfix of the highlander while providing the targeting changes as well.
Valvatorez(Cox Cable = awful ISP 19 apr. 2020 la 21:22
So I'm assuming no overlap and thus no crashes with the Highlander?
