Always be nice to the creators they do not have to share their awesome craft with us for free. Some of Valve's campaigns aren't half this good. If you don't like a campaign just unsubscribe.
These are my opinions based on me gaming longer that many players have been alive.
I was here when computers were created. I detest players crapping on someones hard work.
Try other campaigns by this creator. Just search Apocalypse.
Thank you for sharing. I thought I had most of your Apocalypse campaigns until I saw it was a new version, kind of.
4\10
It's alright, generally speaking I found the remake quite nice to experience. While it was mostly going through buildings, most things were different. I did also have my complaints when it came to a few things. Something that I found that was a bit majorly negative was the lack of bot navigation in terms of being able to grab weapons/health items. I had to throw pills at the bots so that they could have them. The bots also wouldn't grab any found tier 2 weapons until later on inside Saferooms that had them. Also sometimes, as noticed on a few maps, the CI can spawn right on you during hordes.
Overall: 6.5/10
Design: 9/10
Difficulty: 8/10
Gameplay: 5/10
Replayability: 7/10
Maybe fix some of the horde/bot navigation issues and I might find this more enjoyable the next time around ^^
One issue: zombie spawns and spawn rates. They spawn way too close to the player and way too often. Clear a room and turn around? Zombies. Get vomited on by a boomer? Zombie horde spawn ON you. Follow another player? Zombie spawn right in between you.
This requires a fix and the campaign would be much more playable.
