Seems crazy OP. Instead of your money doubling every 15 minutes, why not just /give yourself cash?

Ahh weird, my friend couldn't even join my LAN game until I disabled it. :(

@Greatheart I've had it work just fine in multiplayer. I would recommend for ALL Avorion mods to only enable them for whomever is hosting, don't bother subscribing or enabling them, we have experienced an error when doing so. Instead just join the host, it will automatically enable any mods needed for that session, and there will be a prompt to subscribe and download any mods on joining as well.

Doesn't work in multiplayer for whatever reason. :(
Love it in singleplayer though! :) Keep up the great work.

Great mod, but I want to change it to be every 30-60 min but I'm not sure where the file is located to edit it

My bad, just missed your comment by a few seconds, thanks also the official clarification!

To further addon to my previous post and looking into the file, it is very clearly structured and can be changed with absolute ease.

Changing updateinterval and the If timeset > 60 statments within the function of the interest itself, will change the timescale. Default is 60 so change as applicable/desired in seconds,

And the actual rates of interest can be changed via the playert:receive part of the function as seen inside the file.

playert:receive(playert.money * 0.05, resourceCount[1] * 0.02, resourceCount[2] * 0.02, resourceCount[3] * 0.02, resourceCount[4] * 0.02, resourceCount[5] * 0.02, resourceCount[6] * 0.02, resourceCount[7] * 0.02)

0.05 = 5% 0.55 = 55% and so forth. Hope this helps anyone who wishes to edit their file to change it according to their own tastes.

It isn't too hard to change the rate of interest or the frequency of it. To change the frequency just change this line -- if timeSet > 60 then -- change the 60 to the desired number of seconds. To change the interest rate change -- playert:receive(playert.money * 0.02, resourceCount[1] * 0.02 ... -- and change the multipliers to different amounts

I can see this becoming VERY OP in the mid to early late game, when you amass a few hundred million and start occuring interest on it. Similar to the old X3AP mod, where it would bank your credits and give interest, after a while the interest would grow to be incredibly huge, and you'd end up pulling in a couple billion credits every hour or two. Still this sounds awesome, will dig into the file, perhaps see if the timeframe can be changed to every 30-60 mins or something similar to that.

Either way, cheers for the mod!

I'm curious how it works and how it affects money and resources. Could you please share more details about this mod? Thanks
