While the lobby area error still occurs i have found that progressing the main goals (via back entrance to WC etc) seems to have made the central district error stop occurring. having quite a lot of fun!

I can't seem to re-open the reward stash at King's fireplace? The first time it opened but, after a few story quests and come back here before retrieving the firestaff, the door always appeared locked despite being said "unlocked"

I have to use cheat command to get the leg augmentation out.

i think i'm experiencing the same error, can't get a picture but i've managed to copy the error text from entering worldcorp level 1:

I can't seem to post images on here, but it tends to crash when trying to load into Central District after 5 seconds, and while its loading WorldCorp Level 1.

Comes up with a General Protection Fault, seems to mention about a patrolling new state state.
for Central District it mentions Object Walton 20_FCDowntown

I keep getting game crashes, I checked the save file and it seems to crash when loading a new area after approaching a 100MB save file, is this a bug that is being looked at?, I cant really progress any further without it crashing to desktop.

Was the pinpoint legendary effect supposed to be non-lethal? I'm using the sniper rifle with this effect to knock out people and bosses in one shot from afar, but the only ones like the WC Commando and Cerulean with the full face helmet can die from that?

Hi, long time player of TNM here. Actually, I even talked to some of you for a while when I used the in game IRC! I have no idea this mod can be accessed from Revision through workshop, really appreciate that this mod is here. Thanks for maintaining and updating it even after all this time. And also thanks ZeroPresence for being one of the interesting characters in the game and supporting people wherever you can!

we fixed that, it was an error that no one noticed for a few years... lol

files have been pushed out, but any old saves will have the same issue.

the issue, believe it or not, is related to text rendering on a TV on the space station, and the napalm launcher.

Same happened to me at the HTTP station. The manual/quick save somehow prevents me from accessing level 1, no matter how many times I press. I somehow fixed it by loading the backup saves and playthrough without saving once before entering level 1.

I can't reach WorldCorp HQ Floor 3 either by elevator or stairs, each time i try to go up a floor it loops me back to the 2nd floor, i tried going up and down both by stairs and by elevator. A pretty nasty bug but other then that i am enjoying the mod so far.

The computer terminal at the WorldCorp Sublevel next to Slicer's prison cell has the camera placed outside the map.

yep... any save prior to the patch is gonna have old rules up to that point, therefore item rules such as binocs, and any changes in downtown wont be there since I'm assuming that's where your save was. Any map changes after that will be good.

if you just started, just start over again since we have a lot of under the hood changes here.

I was on a new playthrough (day 1) while the content patch released. This patch wont break anything in my save right? I loaded the save succesfully, although bincoulars still take space in inventory for example, patch does say they shouldnt take space.

just finished both PDX and WC Runs

great great great mod, a MUST for any Deus Ex fan out there

ill be more than glad to support the project, make it so more people will play and talk about it

Steam’s 1000 character limit doesn’t even scratch the surface of what i have to say, but i’ll just leave it at that.

I’m afraid to imagine people’s faces back in ‘09, TNM is almost as long as the original game, and also as timeless. Gotta try the classic version someday

I think the best compliment i can give to this mod is that i've felt like playing Deus Ex for the first time all over again, a feeling i've been chasing since 2021.

Forum City is nicely designed and i appreciate the fact that most of events are happening there, always felt jarring to leave New York and Hong Kong so soon.

The dialogues are also good. Although some of the local forum stuff flew over my head, a Splinter Cell reference in the DXE quest sure made me smile.

Do i need to say anything about the music? It's gorgeous.

Most of the new weapons are good, fists especially. Loved punching the crap out of people and security bots, but sometimes they feel underpowered, despite having all the upgrades. I guess Deus Ex's melee will always feel janky.

There were a few bugs and performance hiccups on my way, but i'm impressed how Unreal 1 even handles all of this without blowing up.

especially considering TNM adds new gameplay mechanics based on vanilla gameplay and entirely new stuff, so it would be kind of an overload for someone that hasn't played the original

so TNM is designed as a love letter to the original game, with design concepts based heavily on the original game. I would say you should play the original game first so you understand the design process of the gameplay better.

Great mod for great game. Having good time playing it, but also I have bug with strange mouse behaviour. Some people already complained about it in the discussions, but no one answered them. That's bad.

The fonts in the game are way too tiny and it's really hard to read on my aspect ratio. I literally have to lean in to read, which I shouldn't have to.

redesigned maps, new characters, new missions, new secret areas, balance changes, technical fixes, modernization, and a partridge in a pear tree. There's one more patch left until the whole 2.0 package is complete.
