any new plans? Just curious!
Blacky Watchy 10 Jan, 2023 @ 6:17am
so for anyone wondering. the stealth exists but now turrets only ignore this kind of stealth at 400m or less so i recomnd working on some heavy armor suttle to deliver the infiltrator to the gorund
Jukebox 30 Jul, 2021 @ 2:06am
Are you alive or just quit this game?
Azul_Nova 26 May, 2020 @ 11:14pm
This is awesome, but when i tried to use it in my world, it wouldn't move. i have no idea what happened, i didn't break anything! Also, do you build ships on request?
Dachshund 5 May, 2020 @ 11:30am
This is an excellent concept, but it seems that Keen probably fixed this stealth exploit in some recent updates. I did lots of testing in a vanilla world using the same methods used here but I just kept getting shot by the turrets.
Arachnade 16 Jan, 2020 @ 2:59pm
Im pretty sure smart turrets 2 breaks this because turrets can decide if your junk cover is thin enough to poke a hole through and blast you. Otherwise this concept should still work fine vanilla or if the cover is thick enough to confuse the smart turrets.
Aether 9 Jan, 2020 @ 1:39pm
Probably outdated, but the way it work is that the steel shell isn't connected to the actual rover.
So if you connected the shell to the rover in any way, then it will be powered and shot.

Or the Dev could also ahve fixed that.
Shagglehod 8 Jan, 2020 @ 9:55pm
I don't think this works anymore. Turret still lit the vehicle up even at a complete standstill, the moment I converted the turret to hostile.
Tachi 27 Jul, 2019 @ 10:10am
Ever thought of making a ship version to take NPC ships? also great idea by the way, I never wouldve thought of this
Sheo 26 Apr, 2019 @ 2:06am
Aight! Thanks for the fast answer, I'll find a way to do it, thanks!
parkasever  [author] 25 Apr, 2019 @ 9:30am
@Sheo - this is a multi-grid blueprint. The projectors in SE only paste a single grid. A possible solution could be to build them separately, and connect them.
Sheo 25 Apr, 2019 @ 5:45am
Any idea why in survival it will only paste the shell instead of the whole vehicle the projector?
:V
Lyric Drake 591 16 Apr, 2019 @ 11:35am
thanks!
now i can sneak up on anyone unless they notice and decide to manully shoot me up!
Davv 3 Apr, 2019 @ 3:40pm
@StridX Actually, there were no saboteurs, as French let Germans win in first day of invasion on France, just by fleeing.
parkasever  [author] 20 Mar, 2019 @ 8:59pm
@JackTheGamer - I am not sure. Perhaps you took too much damage to the outer "shell".
Jackster830 20 Mar, 2019 @ 1:43pm
not trying to be negative but i tryed to go to a SPRT bace and i was slow and got detected, then why when i stopped the turrets kept shooting me??????
akeean 15 Mar, 2019 @ 11:31pm
Cool idea and pretty!
VelxraTV 12 Mar, 2019 @ 10:42am
someone watches laststandgamers for inspiration. ;)
OperatorNaut 9 Mar, 2019 @ 5:47pm
The French way...SABOTEURS Hõ Hõ!
MysteryTaco 8 Mar, 2019 @ 4:55am
THIS THING IS AWESOME. I LOVE IT. Im going to try to make a space ship like this because something about stealth is just really cool. thank you so much for this creation
TheSilverInfinity 2 Mar, 2019 @ 7:44pm
lol - stealth gameplay is a go?
Pan Man 2 Mar, 2019 @ 6:28am
i know how it works. i can simplify it. So, the shell does NOT have any computer parts in it right?
So, turrets dont shot at enemys BEHIND other grids. And the shell around the cockpit is seen as a unpowered grid.
Teamw0rk 1 Mar, 2019 @ 10:20pm
Unless they changed it more recently, it was either grids owned by enamy players or computer chip blocks.
parkasever  [author] 1 Mar, 2019 @ 9:28pm
I haven't tested the computer chip theory. I only found out about it over these comments. What I did was, I've tested some items to see if they come under fire. Maybe I will do further tests to confirm if computer chip theory is valid.
Teamw0rk 1 Mar, 2019 @ 9:06pm
as in any grid with a block on it with a cpu as part of its item list?
Teamw0rk 1 Mar, 2019 @ 9:05pm
I thought AI targeted anything with a computer chip in it?
Aether 1 Mar, 2019 @ 6:59pm
And the others use timer blocks
Aether 1 Mar, 2019 @ 6:58pm
Because it don't need any, If you read the description, you can see that the turrets won't shoot un-powered blocks and that he is basically hiding the rover behind non-powered steel plating connect by a piston, so the game consider them as 2 separates entity.
Green_bread 1 Mar, 2019 @ 6:00pm
how does mot have any sripts or mods
Covanant Jackal 1 Mar, 2019 @ 2:13pm
My friend, how are you not working for Elon Musk? Forget the hyperloop and SpaceX and all that BS, we have a working stealth rover that can actually be used!
Lordship of Uncreation 1 Mar, 2019 @ 10:55am
P.S: where can you find the stealth tech, or do I have inpevise?
Lordship of Uncreation 1 Mar, 2019 @ 10:54am
@Parksever

One way do a recon mission without getting shot by the enemy, or infiltrating their base. Nicely done...
Realm Walker 1 Mar, 2019 @ 9:34am
The way your Infiltrator is working will improve my stealthbomber a lot, thank you.
Prof.Liebstrumpf 1 Mar, 2019 @ 7:26am
did this work with glass-windows too?
Cartman 1 Mar, 2019 @ 7:02am
i like the music aswell! how is it called?
Kamiel the Angel Bird 1 Mar, 2019 @ 6:33am
ya know i might see if i could make a small drone/car using this tech but with a warhead on so you can get close to an enemy base to blow it up
MechaDraco 1 Mar, 2019 @ 1:33am
Probably would of been a good idea to give credit where it is due on the initial post. Still a great build though, Makes me wonder what else we can do with it.
parkasever  [author] 28 Feb, 2019 @ 7:28pm
I don't own the stealth tech - in fact I'm sharing it here along with how-to-do-it with everyone. I'm glad people are liking the design, there is no need to raise any drama.

Also - I've updated the blueprint for the new power requirements, added another reactor and the battery. And the handbrake is now ON by default. Have fun everyone!
billhixon02 28 Feb, 2019 @ 7:01pm
Shreckstyle, Parka re-uploaded this, probably after fixing issues with an older version of the design. it had been up for ages on the old page and LSG has a reputation for ship design theft. He was real blatant about in 2016, here's two videos on the subject from the time:

parkasever  [author] 28 Feb, 2019 @ 4:04pm
@Creepin Bro - I think so, yes. And if the shells occasionally part to reveal a weapon - an interesting stealth bomber could be made. Limiting the speed is the major problem, and keeping it looking better than a flying box :)

@N1CK3R - go for it! Stealth tech was around for a long time. It would be glad to see more designs with it.

@McTec Ind. - I've limited the speed to 35 on wheels. I've found that going faster than that triggers the turrets. And yes, if you are detected you just make a full stop. Usually it happens once and then they ignore you.
Jolly 28 Feb, 2019 @ 11:41am
@Creepin Bro, :bigups:
Dan Is Human 28 Feb, 2019 @ 11:37am
this is like the design that last stand gamers made for a undetectable ship interesting.....
Red Bastion 28 Feb, 2019 @ 11:30am
Would it be possible to make a space version of this by having 2 shells on pistons that clamped together around the ship?
TremorousCawkasaurus Rex 28 Feb, 2019 @ 11:15am
now i know how to make stealth space craft thx
shrekstyle 28 Feb, 2019 @ 10:43am
The youtuber LastStandGamers did a video on this 2 months ago
INVISIBLE TO TURRETS !!! Stealth (No Mods) - Space Engineers
☭Android☭ 28 Feb, 2019 @ 10:11am
Congratulations, parka, you can use an ancient bug.
Why is this shit in the top?
McTec Ind. 28 Feb, 2019 @ 10:02am
this is genius! how slow can you actually drive to stay undetected? do you have to periodically stop to stay hidden or can you drive with a constant speed as long as you don't go over a certain treshold? just asking... your idea has quite the potential for possible warcrimes involving nuclear armed suicide drones (remote controlled).^^
nyimiko 28 Feb, 2019 @ 9:58am
oll right the mod police is here
Abdultawaab Popoola N’omusa 28 Feb, 2019 @ 9:00am
@parkasever I'm thinking about making a larger rover with this "Steallth Tech". If I decide to so, should i give you a shoutout?
KJ van Wartberg 28 Feb, 2019 @ 8:46am
