If your question is strictly in regards to vehicle spawning, then you will need this mod instead, as TMPE doesn't control which vehicles can spawn specifically in the game. I hope this answers your question.

Wait you're still active for this? That is very nice! I have one question, sorry if this was asked before but: Is there a way to ban an specific car file on roads?

Like for example I do not want a tricycle car file on highways. currently the tricycle file is a taxi category that is why I cannot use your taxi option as banning tool

thank you for this mod! omg, i can't play without it. that said, though...i am having an issue with roundabouts. cars drive on right. when a car is in the far right lane...it must exit the roundabout. after it leaves, the car should be able to change lanes at the next node, but does not...instead, it'll take the next right ... go "round the block" as it were, and then...exit that area the way it came in and make another right, heading in the same direction it would have...had it not taken that first right after exiting the roundabout. it's super frustrating. using lane connectors can really cause problems (yes, i'm using the connectors correctly, and the roundabout entrances are configured correctly, too; eg: yields and dedicated turning lanes; even lane math). wish i could attach a small vid or screenshot of the effect cuz just words are often not enough...

I have a problem with one intersection where everytime I launch a game it forgets most of the paths I set for lanes, meaning I have to reset them every time I load in. On a side note, I just want to say thanks so much for the continued support of this mod for so many years, it's really nice to see.

@Elite disable the feature, clear all parked cars and enable it again. It was reported long time ago but I couldn't reproduce that problem even by loading affected savegame.

@tom not sure what you did, but the game folder (Cities.app) no longer has the same privileges at it was before. Check again, alternatively create empty TMPE.log text file in that location with full read-write access. It was something reported by many users after last game update. Nothing has changed in the mod, it seems that update changed folder privileges, so they need to be changed manually. Check previous comment pages here, someone already posted solution.

Hi, i have recently deleted all mods and started from scratch due to some errors. i keep getting the below error (had to delete some due to size) for tmpe and can not seem to fix it, any help would be great!!

I have an issue that if I have realistic parking activated, the simulations speed starts decreasing by time because of parked cars getting relocated all the time.
If I have it deactived my game runs smoothly however these pocket cars will annoy me then..

@PokutaXTreme no. It's not safe to use any mods along with multiplayer if they are not integrated, especially mods that change pathfinding and other parts of simulation.

@Yukikaze very common message if you try to load savegame without necessary network asset where timed traffic lights were configured - game will not load intersections so the mod detects problem with loading data. Simply check the TMPE.log (it will mention which data is missing) and then you can save the game under new file - it should not show the message again after restarting the game and reloading that new savegame.

You must be doing something wrong with your network. This mod is actually a game changer in regards to traffic flow. You have to know how to use the settings first before you just start blasting the mod/creator. Check home first, as that's where the problem usually starts, okay? So, knock it off!

IN regards to the mod and its functionality, go in the settings and make sure that you have the proper options set in the in-game tabs. You can adjust the strength of the mod according to how high, or low, you want the simulation to run. You can even choose whether or not to control the lane adjustments for the highway splitting rules (make sure you are using proper lane mathematics).

If you need assistance, just ask for help. Someone will be willing to help you. Don't be rude about it, it's not that serious, okay? You're good.

@Playaffe see, the mod is only a tool. It won't fix all traffic issues by itself but because of how much control it adds on top of the vanilla and also how little it limits its tools/rules, the user can make things better or worse. Vanilla tools were designed with many limitations so users can't really break too much, even if they try to do stupid things.

What the fuck since i started playing cities skylines ive been using this mod and always had a problem with traffic. Turns out this mod breaks traffic and causes jams basically everywhere. The guy that made this mod is a troll. It breaks the traffic so bad.

i don't know why but road with median bus lanes, or brt won't allow me to put stops like on the brt lane, only on the side of the road, does it have any connection to the mod? becuse ive done almost everything possible, even creating new roads in the road builder mod.

@onyxthunder , I followed your instructions, but I noticed that I cannot choose the Paradox Launcher in the App Management. I can only choose Steam app and Cities Skylines. I tried to enable the toggle for those two apps, but it isn't working and the 'cities skylines is damaged' error is still occurring. Any ideas?

Both versions are regularly updated to the latest patches.
And both versions run smoothly for me.

Background: In some places (road and railroad) I would like the car/train not to immediately find the next way back to the old track. Especially in the switch apron of stations, a train should take the selected route and not “jump” back and forth between the tracks offered

I need some help pls. I have just bought this game on November,4 2024 and I'm absolutely certain the game I playing is the latest update.The game show a message saying that "A mod TM:PE 11.9.0.0 stable caused an error [Modexception]" What is that? I miss something or do something wrong?

occupation1980, this worked and fixed the issue for me. For anyone else follow this path on a Mac: System Settings > Privacy & Security > App Management, select Paradox Launcher and enable the toggle to the right. Open Steam and unsubscribe from TMPE, resubscribe to TMPE, close all apps and restart your computer. The game and TMPE should work like normal!

Mac users...Solved the issue... pretty sure I have anyways lol. Go to system settings, Scroll down to Privacy and Security, Scroll to Allow applications below to update or delete other applications, enable paradox. Then open steam, unsubscribe from TMPE, then resub, restart your terminal, and by all accounts so far... the settings should all work. I had multiple conflicts for other mods I had subscribed to, they are all working as well. Hope this helps!

Mac Os Sequoia 15.0.1 update yesterday, and now TMPE keeps crashing saying it no longer has access ... has anyone seen similar?? A ModTM:PE 11.9.0.0 STABLE caused an error [ModException] I loaded it last night when i started to see cars de-spawning and excessive lag, then I unsub'd, then resub'd, but then it said I could no longer play City skylines, as it had no date for the file, said "cities skylines is damaged and cant be opened, you should move it to the bin". I went into my system preferences and saw that it had put city skylines in basically security isolation, I enabled it..and came up with a warning of potential malware. I loaded it and went to content manager and unsub'd everything and went through process of elimination one by one, but now, I have tried the unsub, resub, restart... still refuses to load or upload TMPE into content manager.. I know its probably me.. lol, but hoping Im not the only one...

Thanks for the years of supporting this. Btw I'd like to suggest another setting : "Remove all stop signs". We already have one for lines and lights (thanks !) but removing all stop signs would be sweet too.

@PhazezGova update the mod. Try unsubscribing and subscribe again. It should be trivial what to do, just by reading the message you posted - version of mod you have is X, it expects game version Y, plus the mod title tells you what version you should expect to see in game. If Steam client is not downloading the mod update, blame Steam servers, I can't help you.

For some reason, with this mod in my city there is a problem with cars disappearing. When I edit the road (rebuild it), then the cars (NPCs) start to disappear. It looks like this road still doesn't exist for them. I have to re-enter the game. I tried to disable the mod in the dispatcher and the problem is specifically in it. Without it, this problem does not exist

Hi Krzchu1245! thank you for your mode. I am a macos user, and I solve the problem with chatGPT lol.
For reference:
First, Turn off the SIP, (using' csrutil disable ' in recover mode of macos)
Then use the chmod method, 'sudo chmod -R 755 /Users/YOUR_USER_NAME/Library/Application\ Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Cities_Skylines/ ' to grant write access
At last, Turn on the SIP to ensure the game work properly.
