Yes, in fact it seems to happen no matter what. deactivating the range attack seems to fix it as long as no ennemi close the gap of melee range, after that, kyulen will refuse to leave as long as the threat isn't neutralized, leading usualy to more enemies closing the gap.

my kyulens get out of control once they enter combat, they will not obey orders until they defeated all enemies in sight and will refuse to retreat. i have nothing against their bushido doctrine, but still, sometime retreating is better than getting curve stomped to death. especially for these mystical beings. i suspected it was because of the search and desrtoy mod, but i tried without and it didn't fix it, so i am clueless about what causes the issue.

모드 잘쓰고있습니다
전 세이브에서는 괜찮았는데 이번 세이브해서 하려고 하니 큐렌이 1년 내내 뜨질않아서
개발자모드로 임무 큐렌을 했더니 활성화가 되지않아서 큐렌을 맵 상에 스폰시키고 임무를 활성화하니 합류 임무가 떴는데.. 이런식으로 해도 되는지 아니면 제가 가지고있는 모드가 꼬인걸까요?
이제 큐렌모드없이 겜 못하겠어요..ㅠㅠ 자연스럽게 합류하고싶은데 모드 바꾼게없는데 왜이럴까요 ㅠㅠ

Black kyulen question: I've studied it and figured out you can save it with 'purify' but a lot of time has passed and I can't figure out how to get 'purify'. Do I eventually get it through 'Arousal of Kyulen'? Is there an order to the psycasts you get through 'Arousal of Kyulen' or is it random? Is 'purify' linked to another condition? I've spend a ton of time using 'Arousal of Kyulen' whenever it was ready to cast but have'nt gotten 'purify' yet and there is no info of the learnable psycasts of kyulen or 'purify' anywhere online or here, so I'm kind of at a loss here. :\ maybe a wikia page would be cool

A null reference error occurred while the colonists were landing on the ground, but it soon disappeared. Strange.

WVC - I don't think it's a problem with Xenotypes and Genes mode. It runs fine.

Upon further testing, these issues seem to only happen if you use Prepare Carefully to start with Kyulens. When I started a map and then spawned and tamed them, I did not any of these problems.

I am getting a null reference exception for every mood affecting thought for the kyulens upon loading the game. I am also having an issue with being able to instruct kyulens to work, as well as opening the work tab while i have kyulens. I am still trying to figure out what other mod might be causing the work tab issues, but when I only have kyulen enabled, it doesn't have the issue. I might be related to something from VFE? Not sure yet, but I think is related to something Vanilla Expanded.

Did you change how the kyulen are defined as unique creatures? I removed the class ChangeDefIfNotUnique from the ThingDefs_Races file but when I reloaded my game, my extra kyulen couple had turned into regular foxes again. I've tried verifying my files and re-installing and still no duplicates allowed.
Is it possible to make this a mod setting we could toggle in the game menu? That would be lovely!

It has been changed to work without VEF, but it is still recommended to use VEF as the controls become very inconvenient.

Well, that black Kyulen is supposed to be neutral, but it seems to be affiliated with some faction. It's probably a bug.

I have some problems with black Kyulen. The lore and interaction indicate that it should be a neutral unit which we should be able to investigate it, however, the black Kyulen is actually a hostile (red name) unit that will attack my investigator, or any friendly units getting close to it, and we are also unable to either capture or tame it. Is this designed or a bug that need to be fixed?

我最近回來玩這遊戲,令我驚訝的是這模組居然還有再更新,還新增了這麼多可愛的事物!
很遺憾的我發現的有點晚,現在中途加入的話會和VoiceroidAsAnimal這模組有衝突,我不確定是不是中途加入的關係,等到下個新遊戲我會再嘗試加入此模組的!

I recently returned to this game, and to my surprise, this mod is still being updated and has added so many cute features! Unfortunately, I discovered it a bit late, and adding it mid-playthrough causes conflicts with the VoiceroidAsAnimal mod. I’m not sure if it’s because I added it partway through, but I’ll definitely try adding this mod again in my next new game!

No, there is still only one worktab for Kyulen, but it includes all kemomihouse animals. Additionally, kemomihouse animals' worktabs does not include Kyulen.

Just a side note, I noticed the work tab for Kyulen got mixed up with kemomimihouse HardworkingExt.I didn't noticed any error though.

Yes, there will be a lot of red characters in developer mode. The mod list is as follows:
-Harmony
-Core
-4xDLC
-Vanilla Expanded Framework
-Kyulen - NinetailFox
-Wololoo - Better Conversion and Recruitment

Then enter the game operation as follows:
-Dev: Quick testing
-Open Developer, Do incident (map), KyulenAppear

If you really can't find any errors, it's okay. I'll just remove Better Conversion and Recruitment. After all, I'm not particularly sure what the features of Better Conversion and Recruitment are, it just used to be on my mod list. After subscribing to your mod, if this fox appears in the game, the game will become very laggy, and after excluding the mod, it will conflict with Better Conversion and Recruitment.

I've looked through all the UI's and still can't get the error. Is this really an incompatibility with that mod?

When there is a fox on the map, the related UI of the fox will be affected, and the lag will be very obvious in multiple mods. Playing Kyulen NinetailFox and Wololoo Better Conversion and Recruitment alone does not cause much lag, but the UI of the fox will still be incorrect

I don't know the conditions under which the error occurs. Creating an inmate doesn't cause the error.

I think you're talking about Black Kyulen, which requires Monolith activation. It's an advanced category entity.

I haven't had a Kyulen appear in a while now, and just saw that it apparently counts as an entity. Does this mean it will only appear when the Monolith is up from now on, or can the event still fire normally?

Edit the file 1612312286\1.5\Defs\ThingDefs_Races\Races_Animal_Ninetail.xml.

Hey I know it's a bit of a break but I wanted to do a kyulen only run on rimworld with combat extended. With 4 kyulen colonists. but your mod seems to turn any duplicates into normal foxes /arctic foxes. is there any way to stop that from happening.

It's for a stream I was going to start today. I love this mod and so do the few that watch me. I just wanted to have some fun with it.
