I would recommend that you use the demo that comes with the mod to test
and see the response you get with that, if ok then create a repro mission
for what your trying to do and link it for download on the release thread.
I sent him a pm and he should reply here when he has the chance.
as he wrote the code. If the demo works fine for you then its its probably related
to using another mod with helis, i cant say we need more info.
Do you have the setting set on the module itself to be kicked out?
And we're talking about the landing not the fast rope.

we are testing using the module demo and when our heli lands me and the squad
are automatically kicked out.
However if i have a zeus module on the map, somehow only i get kicked out
and not my squad, so im wondering if your using zeus also, or something else
in your mission along with HAS?
I will look into it because in the module there is a setting for auto disembark so it might
be a new issue because of the latest update to the game.

I dont recall if the module can be used for both sides at the same time,
best ask Rydygier on the release as he wrote the code.
many different settings, it will also be the base location for your heli's.
Place a heli pad around where the module is at, place the heli's you want, sync
the helis to the module, and the module to the players you want access to call
the heli's.
Once ingame the player with access can call for transport, supply drop, and cas,
the configuration video shows how to set it up.
Dont forget theres always the release thread with more detailed information
you can always ask questions there and Rydygier or myself will answer.
no one needs the module as the script is in the mission, but for the module ya you'll
probably need everyone to have it.

the heli will fast rope is if you choose that, if you want to do just touchdown then just choose
that it should work.
As im not sure you understand what this mod does.
Mod isn't really being updated anymore, its already complex in the code, adding more stuff
increases the possibility of things breaking or causing other bugs.
Best to ask Rydygier on the release thread and see what he thinks as hes the one that wrote the script and built the module.
As for your second comment the forever rise up is a vanilla bug, its been like that for sometime and has nothing to do with the mod.
There is a script version of the mod which is linked in the description.
1. Can you please add the possibility to integrate a "stop" or "move" into the menu? Ideal for patrolling. Right now only landing or rappeling is available. Additionally a "circle / loiter" with different radii would be awesome.
2. Can you also add a possibility to manually give the order to rappel down. My ai team has the tendency to kill themselves when the order is given automatically (happens also with simplex transport). Also sometimes the situation is too critical to rappel down and I want to be able to abort the rappeling.
3. I think I saw it in an older version of your mod but now I can't find it: I need the helicopter to just follow a path / wayppoints and not stop at each waypoint (flying higher) and then continues flying.
4. Contour Flight Mode - bug? When I use it the helicopter speeds up like crazy (my guess the speed given in the attributes). It feels like 400km/h within seconds. Else I love it!
with ai piloting, i been seeing the same thing reported in the steam discussions and on bi forums,
and even had the issue once late last year, idk what it is but its a bug in the game itself.

i started building this mission in 2018 and have been updating it since.
I had just updated the no mods/dlc version today with the HAS script. Cheers!
Play3r ask Rydygier on the module release thread he could better tell you whats going on
just put @Rydygier and basically post what you have here.
My guess is its either because its RHS helis or something else.
I suggest testing the same thing without mods and see if it changes anything, but otherwise
ask Rydygier as he would have a more in depth idea of whats needed or going on.
Problem though is if he asks for a repo mission it will need to be all vanilla.
I host a server and all players on the server is Sync to the HAS module, but not all has the option to guide the heli at base, it is only the host that has the option, we have tried so that the host(me) get inside the heli last or first but no joy. We use RHSUSAF heli's for HAS and we all have the same v1.96 mod.
The map is Pulau from Temppa
and we use Seb's Briefing Table mod
and all RHS mods

try this, setup the module normally and then instead of a heli put the medical striker,
and then see if it works ingame.
i dont think it will but you could always command AI to drive the
truck or use a script that has a transport function your looking for.
the ai and how they function with helis when they are piloting.
to HAS doing the same exact thing on steam and on BI forums, idk if
its related to using mods or its a vanilla bug with helis or ai
in general in a heli.
I've only experienced the issue once and that wasn't even using
HAS at all in the missioni was testing, i was actually using a script for a
spotlight to put on a heli but when i started the mission the heli did the same
exact thing, just climbed and climbed.
So what your experiencing has nothing to do with HAS, its an Arma bug with
the AI or AI in helis,idk if its been reported on the feedback tracker but it should.
Are you using vanilla helicopters, or one from a mod?
Same when i cal for heli from distance. It shows up at my destination, lands and when i get in and select destiniation again infinite lift up.
Any idea how fix it?
