wow...after almost 6 years this asset has held up well.

The empirical issue here is not what it is, but how to identify it. Many people coming to this page, and other mod pages do not know hot to find those mod's added downloads in order for them to function. It is not in particular just this one.

It is very clear about Assets in the description. So it should then mentioned added downloads required, and then this problem would be history.

When you go to the Tram Station Track page, it clearly shows it's a mod and not a network asset.

Took me like a few days to understand the grips of the added installs for this one. Fix the description.

After one Gin and Tonic "too many", i finally had enough patience to try and chase this down. I was all set up to generate reports and get them out to you when I realized that "Station tram track" is listed as a mod, not an asset, and as such it needs to be activated!
Activate it, I did, and Bob's your uncle.
So first of all, thanks for your patience!
Would it be worth it to mention in the description that "tram station track" needs to be activated?
Now I'll go and make meself a gin and tonic

@Epheragon -- I just tested it. It's working perfectly. If you've subscribed to the Tram Station Track and LSM is still reporting it missing, then it didn't download from Steam properly.

First, I would suggest unsubscribing, then resubscribing to both the Tram Station Track and the City Tram Depot. When you unsub and resub, count to 5 in between each step in an attempt to get Steam to download correctly.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, please share your Compatibility Report and Output Log for troubleshooting.

@LemonsterOG -- uh... yeah..., as i said, I had subscribed to "Tram station track" and got the result i posted. I just checked again in order to exclude any error on my part. So i have subscribed to "tram station tracks" through the link provided, and the result is still the same:
Asset fails to load and loading screen mod tells me that "tram station track" is missing.

Tram depot fails to load, Loading screen mod shows "Tram station Track" as missing, even tho I subscribed, maybe it's no longer compatible?

LemonsterOG that's probably the reason. i did clear out some assets and may not have realised what the track was for. subscribe to it, so, im sure it will work now, thanks.

@toadsurfering -- I've been subscribed to this asset for years and have never had a single issue. I just saw your comment so I tested it and it loads, places and spawns trams just fine.

Grabbing the Tram Tracks does not resolve it, the error comes up and the City Tram Depot is still missing in-game. Also the Tram Station tracks does not appear in asset list after subbing.

Any other ideas?

Morty: When you press OK / Continue after reading that message of custom assets missing, does the building show up as usual? The custom assets error message is common today on a working game environment. Please let us know if the building City Tram Depot works, and that you have downloaded the add-on for rails.

Just doubblechecking with you Guttermedic1620, you wrote Tran station track - Did you mean Tram Station Track or Train Station Track? There are two, and I'm just making sure you got the Tram Station Track pack. After you've double-checked that the above is correct, do you also have the Snowfall DLC? It is required for this one.

City Tram Depot is failing to load. I an subscribed and the Tran station track as well.

@LemonsterOG I have the Snowfall DLC and Tram Station Track also subscribed. I just try to help. This wonderful asset using a station track has conflict with game mechanism... Sorry to see that.

@StayHungryStayFoolish -- Um...the Snowfall DLC and Tram Station Track are listed as requirements, so if you don't own the DLC or you're not subscribed to the Tram Station Track, it will error. It can't be any clearer.

@Zulu9812: Please check you have the correct mod added asset for this, I do. It's a mod known as Tram Tracks (can't remember name) Please make sure it's enabled in your MODs list in-game in Content Manager. Then it will work.

How do I activate it as a mod? It showed up "failed" for me too.

I been wondering about a mini version or such; like the size of the fire station. Something so could have minor routes that could connect a few islands or even districts.

Unfortunately this asset uses a track asset from another author that isn't up-to-date and fails to load. This asset no longer loads if you are on the newest version of the game.

@LemonsterOG - Why are you frustrated when we are the ones having the problems?? Just because you have it working doesn't mean there isn't an issue with it for everyone else. I just downloaded it, I also got the dependency (even though the author of this thing didn't actually link it so Steam would tell you it was necessary like other authors do...). It's still failing to load. It just bombs. So stop with the theatrics and offer some actual help, or get lost.

When people make a comment stating, "Great asset, but now completely unusable," it leaves the impression for a new player coming to the asset/mod that it's broken, when in fact it is not. It's just not working for you, the player that posted the comment.

Got a notification myself that it's broken. Unsure why. Possibly an issue with other mods? Either way it just strait up vanished with no error. The city was a newly created one that did in fact have it in use before suddenly vanishing without any reason.

I'll look into which mods might be the culprit. Great asset, but now completely unusable.

@Mattsonic -- I've been using this for ages without issue. I had it in my last 3 cities and my current one. Are you getting an error message or something?

@asterisk11231 Thanks for your props! Hmm? This asset does have a loop inside. It works like a u-turn. Or did I understand something wrong? :) Short info: When I rebuild this asset next time, I replace the tram station tracks with the vanilla track. My plan is still to have a loop inside the hall. Because the vanilla tracks are a bit wider, I have to resize the building slightly I guess. If everything works, the upcoming changes won't be noticeable at all ... I hope so. In the end this asset is completely mod-free.
