The scenario doesn't work.

Good idea but you are not really a mayor in this game. You would be a transit/traffic engineer or something as you only can control transit and roads.

The RP is fun and renews the way to play CIM2 (can not honestly say that the missions are aimed at optimizing the network ^^). Not knowing the GTA other than a name, I will not judge the "credibility" but for the rest, the map is well done and the context scripted I liked. One downside, the relative lack of people gripe financial margin to the point where the establishment of a subway becomes a waiting game a little frustrating.

Don't worry. I still got the map and I play on it all the time!
ChrisG😎  [author] 24 May, 2014 @ 2:33pm
Maybe it`s all directly in the folder where you`ve installed the game? Thanks for liking the map. Never thought it will be on Place 1 all the time.
propagandaxcontrol 24 May, 2014 @ 2:26pm
Nope, thank you for the help though. However, I really do love the map! Great work! :)

Or? Also in /User. Software\Colossal Order\Cities in Motion 2\
ChrisG😎  [author] 24 May, 2014 @ 2:17pm
/Users/$username/Library/Caches/unity.Colossal Order.Cities in Motion 2/

This is the last result Google offered me.

I downloaded the game through steam. I didn't buy a disc.
propagandaxcontrol 24 May, 2014 @ 12:09pm
Yes, but I don't have those files.

Copied from cimexchange:

- DON'T FORGET TO DOWNLOAD THE NEWEST MAP VERSION OR I CAN'T PROMISE THAT THE SCENARIO WILL RUN CORRECTLY
-Place "San Andreas.scenario" to C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Colossal Order\Cities in Motion 2\Scenarios
- Start a campaign ---> userdefined scenario and the San Andreas campaign should be there.

Where do you put the cimexchange file if you downloaded the game through steam?
ChrisG😎  [author] 8 Feb, 2014 @ 1:06pm
It is a V. ;)

I am using windows XP and can't figure out where to install the fixed version.
ChrisG😎  [author] 8 Oct, 2013 @ 12:02pm
It's a workshop bug. Please use the alternative cimexchange-link in the description and follow the instructions.
benem 8 Oct, 2013 @ 9:13am
I've subscribed both to scenario and San Andreas map. I can play to San Andreas map in sandbox and it is very good, but when I load the scenario (from campaign) I only got the landscape without all the road and buildings.
What I'm missing?

For me they are in ugc/temp and every single CiM2 download in a different folder. O.o Anyway, thanks for finding them. This workshop bug is reported already and will hopefully get fixed soon. Try the cimexchange download as long as this doesn't work.
qamil95 12 Jun, 2013 @ 9:56am
Workshop files aren't hidden, but have changed name (_workshop%002f76561197996666573%002f_san%0020_andreas.map) and are placed in steam folder (Steam\userdata\111806691\ugc\referenced for me)...
ChrisG😎  [author] 11 Jun, 2013 @ 3:15pm
@qamil95: Please check if the downloaded map and scenario are in the correct folders.

If they are not in these folders you could maybe do it manually. This could be a Workshop Bug.

San Andreas.scenario to C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Colossal Order\Cities in Motion 2\Scenarios

San Andreas.map to C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Colossal Order\Cities in Motion 2\Maps

- Start a campaign ---> userdefined scenario and the San Andreas campaign should be there.

EDIT:

@qamil95: I've noticed that this solution does not work cause all files downloaded from workshop seems to save as a hidden file, i can't find them manually.

I've also tried the workshop download without my original files and it really seems like a bug, i suggest you to download the map/scenario from cimexchange (Downloadlink in description) and place them manually in the correct folders, this will definetly work.
qamil95 11 Jun, 2013 @ 10:10am
Unfortunately, scenario doesn't work for me - i've downloaded map and scenario using workshop, and map works with no issues, but when I start scenario, it shows only tasks - terrain is flat, with no building or roads :(
