@Evil it's nearly four years now and you still didn't learn to read previous comments. The answer's been in there for about as long.

I got extra skill points only when going to level 2, then levels 3, 4 etc give only 2 points as in vanilla

@Jamei - don't think ily I don't know how to make them. This mod just a simple edit, giving extra points once character gain new skills.

please can you trie to make a mod where every unit has a skill tree like generals and if they increase in skill they gett stronger get better weapons armor or even upgrade to better troops so you dont realy recruit the best troops you have to train them and sory for my english

Really sorry for bringing this up, but I was trying to find the values to edit to bring the number of skill points per level up to 4 or 5. I have the assembly kit and know how to use it, but cannot for the life of me figure out where these values are located. I thought I found it in character_experience_skill_tiers, and changed the values there, but apparently those aren't the actual skill point values on level up. So, before I go to a the discussion forums I thought i'd ask the guy whose mod made me want to increase the values myself. Any help to offer?

I think FOTS has already good skill progression, at least the I way prefer it to be played. In any case I haven't played Shogun 2 for quite some times now. :)

iWarHero, you will get 4 skill points when you get the general to 5 stars. All agents get the correct 3 points per level.

Its a bit strange. The game worked again normally after I had a general Lv one more time. I'm going to do some more tests on it. What occured earlier today was a gernal going to 4 stars and only getting two points. Not a big deal considering that I got the previous ones. If this was intentional then my mistake.

@iWarHero - yes that's a possibility. Some mods changed the same files so there might be conflict somewhere.

The mod has been working up until yesterday. I havent installed anything new but it may be a compatibility issue with my other mods being updated.
