This mod with the 12 turn/year mod is absolute nuts, unleashed nearly full stack samurai armies on my own abdoment. Great fun if you want to fight for every centimeter on the map. It's like WW1 again, but with CHAD samurai armies
10/10 - IGN

Great mod if you want every prefecture to have a citadel
Charsi  [author] 22 Jul, 2017 @ 7:27am
@wirmon - you need sinfonia semplice sound pack to fix that.

@soviet - it should
Hell's Ghost Toast 21 Jul, 2017 @ 5:50am
Does this work with other mods?
Delamain's 10 May, 2017 @ 5:43am
I just noticed that some of these farm mods make my archers sound like Rifles :S

thx
Charsi  [author] 1 Oct, 2016 @ 5:11pm
It should - but the food values do not apply.
Mike Valentine 1 Oct, 2016 @ 3:18pm
Does it work for the "Fall of the Samuria" campaing ?
Charsi  [author] 7 Jul, 2016 @ 6:53pm
I realised that came off snarky - I mean, I don't expect anything of mine to work if darthmod is active. It changes way too much, and mods don't "merge" nicely the way you might expect. One mod's changes to the data files usually takes precedence.

does not work if darthmod is active

It works well. Makes TONS of money for you and the other clans. There is no such thing as a small army while using this mod.
DirtyVaderDaddy 11 Aug, 2015 @ 2:08pm
Not working for me, was working prior now its just stopped. Not sure what happened.
Goose Willis 29 May, 2015 @ 12:41am
I haven't been able to get this mod to work with the expanded Japan mod. It would be an awesome boost to the economy if it did.
AbatedFawn 19 Jan, 2015 @ 3:38pm
I still enjoy this mod very much. Keeps my castle defences high and offers more money from farms. Really helpful on a legendary playthough. :KneelingBow:
Charsi  [author] 19 Jan, 2015 @ 2:24pm
It was never intended to work with multiplayer - sorry.
AbatedFawn 19 Jan, 2015 @ 1:22am
This mod is not working co-op campaign. But still really good for single player.
Xjimu 9 Dec, 2014 @ 7:32pm
@ HAttori Hanzo, hey we got it working it was broken with the ai_occupation mod.
Umbra 9 Dec, 2014 @ 7:08pm
This mod has suddenly stopped working with multiplayer. There was some kind of steam update or something and this mod just stopped working.
Neneley 26 Nov, 2014 @ 2:40pm
Seems like Uesugi and Chosokabe dont benefit from this mod while the Date do (thats the 3 Factions i tried out only). Maybe its because Chosokabe do get their own Bonus to Farmincome and Uesugi to Trade Income that it does conflict with the bonus from the mod?
Epic The Incandescent 1 Oct, 2014 @ 11:56pm
ha this aught to be good! I am going to try to run this with the ming campaign mod, if it works hte koreans wont be gimped at the start due to income!~
Doppy 9 Aug, 2014 @ 5:39pm
The AI really go crazy with their armies when im using this mod its scarey stuff.
Charsi  [author] 27 Jun, 2014 @ 7:14pm
Excellent feedback, thank you. I did not expect it to be compatible, so color me surprised.
WarPig_Bane 27 Jun, 2014 @ 12:55pm
got it to work, thanks. For anyone who might be wondering, this mod is compatible with Darthmod 5.0
Charsi  [author] 25 Jun, 2014 @ 2:59pm
Probably not.
sdhdxgj 23 Jun, 2014 @ 2:34pm
does this work with more food mode?
Charsi  [author] 22 Jun, 2014 @ 10:07am
You might want to double check that (particularly anything related to upkeep).

A really easy way to check is to start a new game and simply check the unimproved rice paddies in your starter province. If it provides 2 food, the mod is working.
WarPig_Bane 22 Jun, 2014 @ 9:37am
I downloaded this and it is showing the mod manager, but I haven't actually noticed any improvments? My income has gone up considerably, but farm values don't seem any different at all, which is strange, considering that the only mods Im using (Darthmod 5.0 and Unit/Building Upkeep reduction) do not, or at least im pretty sure they dont, touch the values that this mod supposedly does.
Dave1029 10 Jun, 2014 @ 11:16am
I follow the tutorials and the mod appears in the manager, but the effects never take place. It just doesn't work and I have no idea how. But I have just decided to use your mod. The double farm values doesn't change things as much as you'd think. Works well with my other mods for a balanced game. Large battles and forts. Ability to fully upgrade cities. It's nice.
Charsi  [author] 10 Jun, 2014 @ 6:51am
Are you saving the pack file in the right location (steamapps/common/shogun 2 total war/data)? Do you see it in the mod manager?

Pack files you create should appear in the mod manager and you have to check them for them to load. If you're not seeing it in the mod manager when you start Shogun 2, that's a starting point for diagnosing your issue.

Honestly, the easiest thing for you to do would be to download (subscribe to) this mod, grab the pack file (cf_doublefarms.pack, off memory), open that in PFM and halve all the gold values - then save it under a different name, of course. That'll set the gold back to normal, which is what you want.

If you have any further questions feel free to message me privately, I am perfectly willing to answer questions as they arise, but the replies might be a bit slow.
Dave1029 9 Jun, 2014 @ 12:31pm
I keep following the instructions... But it never shows up in-game. Is it not under the table buildings_effects_junction?
Charsi  [author] 9 Jun, 2014 @ 12:07pm
Pack File Manager from twcenter.net . I've found that the CA mod tools include a bunch of tables that are quite unnecessary.

Basically you should only put in the changed rows of the tables that you are affecting. You shouldn't include anything in your mod that isn't a change.

Do you really want a food-only version? I linked a version down below - does it not work? If not, I can look into making a food only version.
Dave1029 7 Jun, 2014 @ 7:31pm
How did you make this mod? whenever I try to recreate it without the extra income values, it never works.
Blurry Eyes 27 May, 2014 @ 4:22am
Not sure why, but I was suddenly unsubscribed to this mod today. Possibly coincides with me updating my graphic driver, but non of my other mods were unsubbed.

@Charsi I recently created a new mod, and wish to work on a cheat mod and i ask if i can use all data contaning to your mod to mine, but in order for it to work with mine I will need to edit it will send a Friend invite to further disscuss this.
Theridion 19 Nov, 2013 @ 12:49am
Lol was browsing through the workshop picking up a couple mods, and before I knew it, I was subscribed to 4 of your mods! I like your stuff man!
Charsi  [author] 18 Nov, 2013 @ 6:10am
@Aoi Hana: You may want to consider this mod:

http://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=124538235&searchtext=farm

It increases the food of farms and may slightly increase wealth. If anything, that mod was the inspiration for this one, because I wanted double food and income. So if you just want food, try that mod.
Blurry Eyes 14 Nov, 2013 @ 9:39pm
You're absolutely right that this breaks game balance, but I do really like the double food part. It should also help the AI clans maintain their towns easier, instead of running all of their provinces into the ground as fast as possible.

I would love to get this mod with just the double food, no double farming income.
Charsi  [author] 17 Jul, 2013 @ 4:51am
I don't think the AI cares about food (it seems to be allowed to go into the negatives based on how many high level castles it builds) but it certainly uses the money.
The n00b among n00bs 16 Jul, 2013 @ 8:28pm
Does AI actually care about food?
Pony Play 27 Apr, 2013 @ 6:15am
Hi, I don't think your mod rules with Darthmod in Shogun2 campaign: the values are still +1 food per lvl of farm and still 1 food par farm at the beginning of the game. Tested with Otomo, Ikko-Ikki and Shimazu clans. Anyway, this is a great mod for those who want to build huge castles AND markets in their cities! Thx a lot!
Royal 20 Apr, 2013 @ 12:37am
sigh this*
Royal 20 Apr, 2013 @ 12:37am
I posted this in the discussion but to increase chances that you'll see thins: Hi, I play very much FotS and I for one like to build traditional (*cough* Aizu *cough*) and if you aren't going to build a modern economy the farms is really REALLY important for me, so please do one for FotS :) (Well RotS aswell but it doesn't matter that much ;) )
Charsi  [author] 12 Apr, 2013 @ 5:19pm
Any clan you normally have access to. This mod will not enable the Hattori for you if you did not buy the DLC, please don't take that impression from the screenshots.
Bombay 12 Apr, 2013 @ 4:52pm
so i can use any clan just in the normal game?
HAVOC5150 12 Apr, 2013 @ 9:03am
i like this mod it really increases my income. its not really double but its more.
