Why does Afturia have "religious aversion" to Austrasia? They are both Christian? Shouldn't that be simple to fix?

All you need to do is download the pack file and put it in your data folder

I agreed with Naj95, I'm much more well read on the muslim factions of this time period now and in my short lived historical overhaul i actually made them into something much more closely resembling their actual military and society. As part of IB3 we will eventually be doing the invasion of spain in the early 8th century so we will depict them even more accurately in that mod.

I am now working with Invasio Barbarorum 3 modding team to create the most historically accurate mods for Attila. We are creating totally new models and textures to get every little detail right and eventually we will get to this era and make a mod for it too!

Ya dont worry I'm working on totally correcting all of the historical inaccuracies in my mods. AOC historical overhaul is coming out soon and then I'm working on this next

It's actually painful to see the bias and historical inaccuracy when comparing the Anadlusian units and Frankish. You've even given the same unit name to the armoured archers and the heavy cavalry. At least put some effort into the Muslim faction....

Hi Big Boss,
I appreciate the effort u put on creating this mod. But the problem is that i cant get it to work. I followed ur description above. I´ve deleted all the previous mods, reinstalled Attila and then I installed ur mod. I´ve extracted and put the mod in the attila, in the data/folder. When try to start the mod i get the message u have to upload pack bla bla. Can u please explain or make an video tutorial on how to get the mod to work.

Well all you need is the pack file manager for total war which you can google. Then install that and you can edit the pack file used by the mod. Just look up the variant meshes folder in the file and extract it. Then use the pack file manager to create a new pack file and upload the directory aka folder of the variant meshes you just extracted and then save. Thats pretty much everything you have to do.

Its very easy to do, just extract the variant meshes folder from the mod pack file and then create a new pack file using either the assembly kit or the pack file manager

Dear god! The unit skins are amazing! I beg you, can you please make these unit models apply to the regular Age of Charlemagne in a separate mod? The Franks look a lot more Germanic, as they should. The ummayads look so intimidating and badass, and the Lombards look a lot more authentic with their lamellar armor. I fecking love this!

Is there any way to make this mod or your Imperator Romanum mod playable with the Byzantine faction? I doubt the are compatible with the mods that make the Thema Sicilia playable for the vanilla campaign. Also thanks for the good work, by far the best mods for Attila :)

Overall very impressive, thanks so much for this mod. Sorry to see that Mercia is just an exact copy and paste though. This is the very beginning of Athelbald's reign, historically he would have had to struggle to reassert Mercia's position of dominance, and Wihtred of Kent and Ine of Wessex are meant to be very strong kings. One way you could break up the Mercian realm at the start of the game is by making London "East Seaxe Rice" (or whatever) and even Lincoln could be "Lindsey and East Anglia" (covering that territory), possibly both client states. Sorry for being pedantic.

I've renamed and repurposed the vanilla units and added in about 30 new legions and cavalry units from the time. it is being beta tested right now and hopefully we can get it out soon

FOTE is very nice but it isnt quite as historically accurate as I want to make this. They basically just stick with the vanilla starting positions while mine completey recreates the political situations, armies and settlements of the time

I disabled all other mods first.
Downloaded normally, extracted it and put it to the other atilla mods. Still not working....

I believe that is caused by having other mods enabled, I checked every unit for this and they showed up fine

I don't know if this has been reported already but I noticed many of the English boatmen are invisible other than a head and their weapons. It's by no means gamebreaking but I thought I would report it.
