Yes, I try to work with blender since a week. Not easy. But if I can, I will create some buildings.
I am glad, that you create buildings with absolute freedom (only). So you willl have better inspitrations instead of copying and somehow assembling something from any buildings.
I really love your works! I am excited for the next building!
Maybe you will start create your ideas in a 3d application and learn how to import it into the game? I never did that before SC, so it's learnable. Ok, I do 3DS since DOS 6 but thats another story.
And thanks for the compliments. I will probably create more stuff whenever I have a good Idea and enough time. Happy Time.
Do you want to make more of such great buildings? I love them very much! You do a great work!
Since the comment field on Steam allows a maximum of 1000 characters, I had to split the comment into two parts. Please excuse me!
Part 1:
I always deal with nature-connected buildings. Often, I draw some, but often reject my sketches.
I have a building in mind, this has the following:
White steel facade, blue-green glass surfaces. This building is partially completely overgrown with plants of all kinds. Including climbing plants and wild-growing flower islands on the facade. In the middle falls a waterfall, which rises from the upper third of the building. Not from the roof, but from an opening that is several stories high and serves as a lookout terrace. I would say, if the building has 80 floors, the waterfall rises from the 65th floor.
The opening is 7 - 8 stories high. To the right and left of the river, which becomes a waterfall, are two wooden terraces with tables (the lookout terrace). The part of the building from the upper edge of the opening is very distinctive and additionally represents the “nature-friendliness” of the building. In addition, the building has solar panels and wind turbines on the roof, which is very artfully designed (the solar modules are not rectangular, they seem more like a flowing stream).
The question: What would a building look like that has been abandoned for decades and stands in the middle of a jungle? This look is intended to convey the building without it seems abandoned.
What do you think? Do you want to create such a building?
Fantastic work.
