I don't have the game installed anymore to check. On top of being relatively busy and not remembering much on how I did the mod (and not wanting to break something that works, again), I don't plan on updating it again.
IIRC you can add the missing entity in the equipement list from my mod manually in the editor.

That's all I plan on doing. I'm sorry as I understand it's not a perfect solution.

I think you missed P4 Units. I assume that, because P4 MkII do have most helmets excluded, while MkI P4's(called P4 Unit in game files) are allowed to wear practically every helmet.

Sorry for the delay, Steam decided to wait until today to warn me about new messages. I don't remember if I enabled some non playable species to wear the helmet (game's not installed anymore to check), but eventually, that kind of stuff tend to get overriden by mods. So probably no.

Sorry for the late answers, internet issues for a week^^

@Tinus only changes for the soldier. Workers were not modified and work the same as in vanilla
@Alekie works on both experimental and regular. Hopefully. The issue mentioned earlier was fixed.

I added the Ninja mask. For the bandana it's already part of excluded headgear. I double checked if I missed anything else.
Could be modded item ?

The biggest issue with the mod is modded headgear. Essentially, I allow those races to use ANY headgear. I have to manually lock everything but the one they use. It's cumbersome, but it also mean they can wear any modded gear.

Sadly, it was the only way to do it.

@Erei Looks like there is one last lil bug to squash, I've noticed a fair amount of tech hunter skellys wearing the ninja mask after your last update, honestly doesn't look to bad so I didn't think much of it however I've now noticed that certain bandits and scavenger Hive Soldiers now also seem to be aloud to wear the ninja mask and the clipping is pretty bad... At first i thought it was the "ninja mask undumbed" mod but only unsubscribing from your mod fixes the issue. Maybe check out the bandana too as I've sen a few hive soldiers wearing it and it looks pretty funny... more testing before I can say for certain its your mod doing that one tho :P

@OfDust : I made the mod in Experimental. They changed the way FCS works, apparently, so it was only working in experimental. My apologize for that.

And you guys have my apologize for the mess. I never bothered to not use experimental because it was never an issue before. I heard they were changing some FCS related stuff, and I guess it was not compatible this time. Totally my fault, shouldn't have taken that for granted.

Well, so the workshop had a way to revert the files but I just saw it. Rewrote everything anyway (yay). Derp.
Anyway, it should work OK. Hopefully. I also made sure the save where not afffected (you shouldn't lose your helmet and tech).

Lots of fun, hope it works. Let me know if there is an issue.

Oh and I allowed another hat for hiver soldiers that was added some time ago I didn't know about.

Happy to help, to bad workshop doesn't have an option to rollback changes. I'm itching to jump in and play my save again but I really appreciate your willingness to fix either way.

I've even tried taking the mod files and viewing them in the FCS to see what's wrong but it gives a Microsoft framework error and the FCS fails to load properly. If I remove the mod it works fine tho! you wouldn't happen to be using the experimental branch?

Can you restart steam and get the update ? I reuploaded the mod. I can't reproduce the issue which is super weird because I use the same version.
If it's still an issue I'll install Kenshi on another computer altogether and see there, but it's quite a lengthy process.

I'm going to need to cook and stuff, So I'm going to be away for a couple hours. I'm concerned it might be a steam upload issue ? I tried with the workshop version downloaded from there and didn't have problems. Make sure you clean the mod folder (and the worskhop one) from the mod. Mod number is the number at the end of the adress for this page.

If more people have the issue I'll reupload it.

Have tried that, as well as clearing download cache etc.

I think there is something funky going on with the workshop itself at the moment as it keeps pulling down the corrupted version. I'll try debugging that and get back to you if I get anywhere.

Your mod is corrupted. Unsub, make sure it's removed and resub. I'll post what it should look like.

Yep did that and it:
- Game loads fine with no mods
- Game loads with with all mods active except this one
- Have also verified files
- Removed mod from machine and re-added several times to redownload

Upon loading the game. Disabled all mods except this one and yet problem persists.

Super weird too, I was literally playing with this mod active just before I posted, but closed the game it to import my save for an unrelated reason.

The only dependencies of the mod are the game files themselves (which is normal). I double checked in the editor to be sure.

Ok, done, also did some trimming and added the cap for everyone but the worker drone, skeleton and sheks.
It may or may not work with your other mods allowing you to use non playable skeletons species, but that's not my fault^^

Let me know if there are any issues, hopefully I didn't break something :D

Sure, I'm adding all the non playable skeletons, except for the no head one (obviously) to the list, but it takes a while. Hopefully it will be done before the end of the day.

I really appreciate this mod, even the helmets the other hive races can wear tend to cause a similar amount of clipping to the hats you've allowed the soldiers to wear. I also like that all of the headgear the soldiers can wear in this mod are technically "hats" rather than helmets, but I recognize that's probably a happy accident. The skeleton head reinforcement is also really nice.

They are enabled, but in the vanilla game the southern hive soldiers can't be played/added to the party. So you need to rely to a mod to be able to.
In short, depending on the other mod, and how its author did, it may or not work. You are pretty much guaranteed to need to mess with the load order though.

For more explanations, I disabled the general racial hat restriction on the 2soldier "species" (and skeleton), and then enabled a per item check. Essentially, they CAN wear any hat in the game, but only the ones that played well are allowed for them.
If the other mod author simply add companions to the pool that use the same soldier "species" than it will work just fine (load order might need to be changed). If he/she do it another way, it won't work.
If said mod author activate the playable option (so you can't select them at the start), then it should work to, again with proper mod order.
