This seems broken because when I check the "Ignore Chosen", I still don't see their cinematic reveal.

How Great!!! Why would anyone want to use their Brain and go to the game Options and disable the cinematics when you can simply use a Mod, right?

I'm not sure if this is related to this mod but whenever there is a soldier trait check and the camera slowly zooms into the soldier it continues to zoom in through the soldier and goes under the ground. The camera returns to normal once the trait check is complete. Anyone else had this happen?

i believe this mod requires WotC, as bMatinee = false has no impact on a Vanilla non-WotC install.

I have the same bug, Ignore Chosen = true but no Chosen Dialogue.

Still well worth it just to not hear every alien being introduced again each time and no lost reveals

Sadly, this mod has an irritating bug, like kishkuma mentioned below. Disables Chosen voice lines even if ‘Ignore Chosen’ is enabled.

Ignore chosen is set to true and narrative moments are set to true, and it plays the chosen intro cinematic, but skips their opening lines/"greetings". I like those lines. :/ Such a godsend for skipping Lost intros though.

Old mod working as intended, yep. However, I have a smooooool extra feature request, if you think it's possible:

Could you add an option for disabling reveal cinematics of only reinforcement drop-ins? Could work by disabling cutscenes happening during the reinforcements phase, before Advent Turn proper starts.

Didn't see issues what other people got, but have one bug. With "reveal new enemies types" ON ammo in constraction zone cant be make. Not after 5 days, not after getting bonus to make it instantly. You need to OFF funtcion, make all your ammo types and then make it ON again.

Don't like the Chosen bug ( NO VO on intro and Bradford cuts out), or the instructions - not clear what clicking X does. Appreciate the Lost No Reveals but I might live with it.

The game doesn't start for me with this enabled (Vanilla). It also says in the mod menu that WOTC is required. Any way around this?

I have an issue that breaks the Lost and Abandoned mission. When you deal enough damage to Assassin she should disappear and call the lost and the mission goes on. But instead she just runs around and despite being constantly hit she still have one HP left. My reddit post regarding the issue( modlist and latest log can be found there ):

Going through all of my mods, unsubbing from some and finally rating up others. I seriously can't play this game without this mod. Trying to get through TLP without it is making me pull my freaking hair out! This absolutely should've been a setting built into the game by default.

Judging by the features, if the box is not ticked, then the cutscene/effect is off, right?

What cinematics on gatecrasher? The intro movie? Those can be turned off in the ini somewhere, search gamedata for "movie" and you'll find it I think. If you mean Tygan/Shen/Central's lines, thoes are under the bNarrativeMoments option

The flag is 'true' to keep them, 'false' to disable each option.

Ignore chosen is one of the lowest priority options, onlylost and matinees both have to be false for it to matter.

Having desperately needed this mod since initial release of vanilla Xcom 2, i am so happy to see it finally here, so bigup to the creator, however, i am equally frustrated about it apparently not working. Having troubleshooted it literally all weekend i need help! Am currently on a clean install of Xcom 2 with only this mod applied.

Does the mod remove the first cinematics on gatecrasher?

What does the Mod Config options do? Do i set the flag to remove or to include reveal cinematics?

Does ignore chosen override the other options?

@stefan the scout that’s a known bug I haven't figured out yet. The mod seems to disable that voice line regardless of settings.

I don't know why or how, but the Chosen's reveal intro are a little bugged for me.
I set it up like this: There were reveal cinematics for normal enemies (but not lost), and removed the "Narrativemoments". This means that the Chosen's cinematics will play out... But their voice lines are missing.
It's a little awkward to see the Warlock appear in a flash of air, standing menacingly and flapping his gums without anything coming out. Any idea how to fix that?

No worries for labels, the least we can do is to figure that by ourself and try stuff out. It's not like we are cracking our ass by coding it xD thank you a lot Charmed. your mod really is amazing.

Eh yeah the menu labels and tooltips could be better written. False to turn off matinees, narratives or camera pan. True to allow chosen matinees and only lost option.

@thejessachannel hmm am i wrong or you remove the cinematics by making the line "false" instead of "true". Nothing was working for me until i realised it was the opposite, i wrote "false" for all the one i wanted ignored and it worked fine like that... Can u confirm Charmed or there is somekind of exceptional miracle in my game code ? xD
