Gunships are powerful if used in large numbers. Kinda annoying in the current public version but they'll be getting changes to align with how they work in FOTR where you get a larger number of squadrons per unit.

ran into another issue today during my Empire of the Hand playthrough. time has permanently stopped. ive tried reloading a few different recent saves in hopes of resolving the issue but it appears to be persistent across all of them.

1.) Of the current public release only the NR, Hapes and Hutts have random missions and the associated rewards.

2.) All other factions are slated to get them at some point.

3.) Factions with heroes available through government mechanics such as Legitimacy have access to heroes. Heroes on start like you might expect in a progressive GC are, to my knowledge, unplanned.

4.) The only way to get storm troopers as Eriadu is to integrate the Empire through government mechanics.

1 question in the from the ground up galactic conquest map do the other factions except NR get missions with rewards? 2 in the future will they get missions with rewards? 3 also will hero's be added to from the ground up? also is there a way to get storm troopers for eriadu authority on from the ground up map?

Question are there any guides on what kind of ships to build to make a fleet for eriadu authority for from the ground up single planet start? Or guides just took a dreadnought production planet but lost most of my fleet kinda want to avoid that happening again if I can? Currently am saving for SD 1.

You don't need to own certain planets to build your main roster, just the appropriate shipyard. Sometimes a ship will be added or retired in certain eras, but again there should be a button to the left of your minimap that displays this.

For the sake of a comparison, I'll use the CR90; you should have access to it for the entire game -assuming a Era 1 start - though in Era 4 you can research Phase II New Class Modernisation Project and replace it with the Agave. In Era 4+ starts the research is done automatically, but you may still have the CR90 in starting forces and reward pools.

Some planets offer additional units to the faction that controls them, the majority fof these are flavoured to the planet in question; Kashyykk gives you Fluttercraft, Hypori gives you MkII Droideka's etc etc. I believe there are a few factions with heroes or mechanics exclusive to certain planets, but they're too varied to list here.

Uhhh maybe I didnt write it right, I mean is there a tab which lists what ships belong to what era and if you need to own certain planets to build certain ships like cr90 only can be built in era 1 or 2 or you can only build this ship on kuat or something like thatiam trying to do a from the ground up galactic conquest and Want to have a certain roster of ships?

You should be able to see era unlocked ships (and your starting roster) via the buttons on the bottom left of your screen.

At current, From the Ground Up is static, so your roster is set by which era you set.

been having a weird issue when playing the Hapes where after around 40 or so cycles, im locked out of interacting with the government, space station, and ship building tabs, and can only produce ground units and structures. any clue whats going on? is this a bug? or some mechanic that i missed?

Hello, guys, gals, and NBs. I love this mod, and CoreyLoses and his team are doing a really good job adding cool and interesting content to the mod. However, I'd like a mechanic that allows you to integrate the Hapes Consortium as the New Republic. The reason for this suggestion is that the Hapes Consortium almost became a part of the New Republic in the EU. Specifically in the novel 'The Courtship of Princess Leia'. It's another 'What if...?' scenario that I think would make the mod more interesting.

Any way to get the AI to chill? I've been attacked 9 times in the build-up phase, and another 4 times while gathering my forces to take and fortify a single planet. This constant defending is really getting on my nerves.
You just select the planet and mouse over the planet's total income. It has a breakdown. It's a vanilla feature.

A feature that would be nice would be if you could see the base income of a planet somehow. Maybe if you click the 'planet info' panel it will show the base income.

That is a framework crash and will be fixed next version.
For now the only thing you can do is reloading an older save and hope it doesn't happen again.

Hello everyone. I have a problem when i play Hapes Imperium. When i get around 5-10 planets than i cant build any space stuff anymore. Is that a bug or is it because of my old pc (6 years old but i dont have lags)

My first advice would be to pick custom GC. Thought it does take a little bit of setting up, you can use it to customise your game to your hearts content; if you wanna practice your battle skills, select "Pick Enemy Locations" and don't move any of the faction tokens, that way you get to practice on a galaxy with no active AI.

If you wanna practice your strategy skills, a smaller GC like Corporate Acquisitions or Lambda Sector might be a good choice.

Dose anyone know where I can get better at this game? I'm a new player and the size and complexities with the new units and planets makes it very hard to not get overwhelmed. Can anyone point out any good tutorials or things like that to help get me in the right direction?
Yeah that's probably it.

See if you can load an earlier save and snipe Metalorn or disrupt the factions that might be fighting over it. Beyond that I'm not really sure what you could do about it.

Interestingly, I can load the autosave, and suddenly I'm in a ground battle on Metalorn. But I can't do anything at all, when I click on retreat, it just says retreat not allowed, and things like auto-battle don't work either, nothing happens.
That's an auto-resolve loop. It means there's a battle between AI factions that's essentially stuck trying to resolve itself. Look around for a planet that has a pair of crossed lightsabers. That means there's a battle happening over the planet.

You'll then need some way of disrupting the battle. The most reliable is taking the planet itself but that's not always doable depending on where it is. Otherwise you might be able to swing it by attacking either involved faction to try and force them to do something else.

I've also heard you can use a specific dev build of the game to try and fix it but I have no idea how that works.

I was playing with the Corporate Sector Authority on the large map with 158 planets. But in cycle 69 the game stops completely, time stands still, nothing progresses anymore.

I should clarify that Han has a respawn mechanic if he's a fleet officer (though he's downgraded to his ground form); the reason I say ground is because I was unsure whether you were using him or not.

Heroes have permadeath, though some have a respawn mechanic. Unfortunately, if you've lost Luke and Han on the ground, they're gone for good.

So, like, I kind of lost Luke Skywalker and Han/Chewie in my first New Republic battle and I can't help but notice that they aren't showing up with the rehire timer like in vanilla. Do heroes have permadeath in this mod, or can you get them back some other way?
