I am trying to play it on the Campaign by the way. Only a few of the soldiers have weapons that are compatible with Vanilla Accessories.

Hi. Can you swap the every units weapons weapons with the (RIS) versions. I want to use all the scopes and accessories i want but the weapon needs to have "(RIS)" written on it's name. Can you fix this?

Not ruled it out completely, but I had some issues that prevented it from working properly meaning I needed to remake the RHS version from scratch, which I haven't gotten around to.

I like the weapons and loadout, not a fan of the uniforms. They don't match the vehicles and they look more like a bunch of irregular guerillas than an organized army.

You can fight against them, or use them as allies, without any issues, it would just be any missions that have you actually playing as AAF you may get pop-ups.
The vast majority of AAF weapons and gear other than the uniforms themselves are non-DLC, so scavenging weapons, armour or items from AAF soldiers should work as well.

I see. I really wish there was way to get around that. I cant really justify buying the dlc rn and the only other AAF mod is not a conversion.

The reason is because Syndikate camo is actually a Lizard Camo variant, which Greece used in real life.

Personally i feel like them wearing Syndikat uniforms is kinda bad. Id myself would like it to be AAF uniforms but with the niarms weapons.

I was working on making a new version of them, but I've been really busy with work so have not been able to have the time to get much progress on them. I'll try and get them finished and released but I don't know when that would be.

weird. in stratis part of campaign they didnt work but in altis part they worked. well its fine now, ty for replying and keep doing what you do, your mods are fucking amazing

Just tested it in a scenario and then the Campaign, mission 'Death Valley' , without any issues. Perhaps turn on CBA_A3, and try re-installing and re-enabling the Overhaul, see if that helps?

I had that issue myself with multiple other mods, my resolve was to right click on the unit in the Editor and hit "Reset Loadout" that returns it to it's default loadout, seems there might be an inhertance issue with whatever system is used to replace the gear on the default units.

also quick note, AAF Rifleman (unarmed) and UAV operators are standard AAF guys.

Huh. I have no idea what's going on then. Additionally, immediately after I removed AAF Overhaul to test and checked that the ChDKZ were fixed I tried to spawn something from the Soviet Armed Forces mod and they got swapped out with the CSAT Overhaul. I think my Arma is haunted.

Not sure exactly why or how but this seems to overwrite the Project OPFOR ChDKZ units and turns them into overhauled AAF by some weird voodoo.

Notice- For ease of use the dependency list on Steam has changed to use the NIA All-In-One. The mod does not require every NIA weapon pack, and the individual weapons used can be found in the text for those who would rather use each pack individually.

Ok, because of all the requests I will change the dependencies list to use the AOW.

I will list the individual packs needed per mod in the text though, for people who would rather have the mods individually.

PLease change the dependecies to NIArms all in one. That would keep the list shorter and people playing my missions (with your mod) don't get all fucked up because i placed 1 weapon thats not in your mod by accident.

The reason this is called 'AAF' is because it REPLACES the AAF faction with these units.
I went with the Apex Lizard camo instead of an actual Greek Lizard because I could not find any standalone Lizard camo around, and this keeps the dependency list down.

I could have added flat color vehicles but they would not work in the official campaign like all the other unit dos, so just kept it with the vanilla vehicles to have better functionality.

Well the thing is that the camo looks like it's from the 20th century, not the 21st. Altis feels like it has embraced the 21st century with its green power plants, and rebels driving around in techies with built in gps.

The AAF is also the armed forces for what appears to be a military dictatorship, and likely would want to appear as strong and modern after the end of the civil war. Nothing says modern like fancy digi pants.

I am considering making some FIA armed similarly, yes.
The reason I went with the Lizard camo instead of digitise is to match the Hellenic Army IRL (Greek Army) who I wanted to base them off. The vehicles have been kept in the original digicam.

The armor/ helmets HAVE been changed, they are in flat OD with a mix of IOTV and fancier body armor- I kept some of the heavier rigs just changed the colours to keep the 'feel' of the original AAF soldiers.

To be honest most of it seems good besides the changes to the camo. It just feels wrong to see them using non-digi camo. More so when it seems that the armour is unchanged.

Also did you change the FIA loadouts that use looted AAF gear? It would make little sense for the FIA to have bits of digi camo gear if the AAF doesn't use it in the first place.
