Updated, version 5.0

  • Larger rear wheels, made possible by custom (but simple) animations. Custom animations were made possible by the hard work of Phazer, and an in-development version of RMEditor they've been working on.
  • Rebalanced the unit using sebitudoreci's recommendations. Land ships have been differentiate more from Steam Tanks. They need to keep moving (like chariots) to be effective.
  • Textures should be a little better now.
  • Faction color on the decorative shields.
  • A few more model tweaks.
  • Steam now comes from the land ship's chimney.
  • Destroyed model has been created.

  • Cost reduced to 1700, upkeep reduced to 500.
  • Crew is now skirt-wearing marienburgers, based on their Mordheim designs.
  • Added in "Abandon (Land)ship!" special ability. Crew now spawns when the ship dies.

Updated, version 4.5

  • Landships can now be recruited at any level 3 port. They are also available at the tier-3 (level 2) Marienburg and Nuln special buildings, allowing them to be accessed earlier there.
  • Added in a "grapeshot" special ability. Couldn't get projectile toggling to work, so this is the next best thing.
  • Added in a "full power" special ability. This is in reference to the actual Warhammer game rules. Something special happens when the ability is miscast...
  • New unit card.
  • Loading screen quote and image.
  • A bunch of other minor housekeeping stuff.

  • Attachment points added, crew and captain are all aboard
