Alchemy

Description
Mod id: 947608631

Description
This much like Minecraft's Equivalent Exchange 3 Mod, adds an Alchemy Table.
This Alchemy table allows you to break down Items and resources into Energy, and if the input item is a crafted item it breaks down the crafting recipe and converts it to the energy which is equivalent to the sum of the parts and if an input item has a quality it takes that into account and breaks it down according to that. And with that energy, you can materialize Items. so, in essence, you can convert anything into anything.
The second structure in this mod is a Research Bench intended to make alchemical blueprints for easier access to materialization.
These Alchemical Blueprints save the Energy Value for view outside of the alchemy table
In essence, it is a Pearl converter, but much better.

Basic Structure Usage
Alchemy Table
  • Convert All Items Button
To use the Convert Items button Simply have the items you wish to break down in the Alchemy bench and press the button and you will get the amount of energy for the broken down items. Keeping in mind it only breaks down half of the items, you will have to press it multiple times. Side note on Ascendant/high-quality Items, you can break down ascendant items for the proper amount of energy as is equal to the crafting recipe.
  • Materialize Button
To use the Materialize Button, you need to have an Item, Blueprint, or Alchemical Blueprint in the Alchemy Bench Selected, then press the button and it will make up to five stacks of the selected item consuming the proper amount of energy. Second side note on Ascendant/High-quality items, You can use materialize on an ascendant item however it will consume the energy for primitive and give you a primitive version of the item.
  • View Energy Button
Simply press this button when items are in the inventory and hover over the items to see their values, both for individual items and stacks. Alchemical Blueprints will store their Energy Values
Research Table
  • This bench is used to make Alchemical Blueprints, how, you just need to put the item in the inventory select it and click the Learn item button.
One note on the alchemical blueprints, Unobtainium is Unobtainable, as such ignore the crafting recipe. and simply look at the item description.

i have an issue where every item in the game is unobtainable for some reason.. maybe stack mod conflicts?
Artemis 26 Jun, 2019 @ 5:43am
The specific issue (as I've noted it anyway) is that if you materialize somethings and you have enough energy to make multiple stacks, and you have enough to make more than say, 5 i think, instead of taking the energy needed and stopping there it instead doesn't take any at all. If you don't have enough to make whatever that "too much" threshold is, it'll use energy properly.

@Bowen Arrows im using standard mod install settings nothing edited and in Single Player. In Alchemy Bench if i convert items to energy it works fine when i materialize energy to say oil its free and uses no energy also if i use a blueprint made by the research bench also same issue just more likely to occur than if i just told it to materialize to a certain resource

It looks like the developer has given up :( shame as it looked a good mod but I tried it on local and it had the same issue as others, not taking energy.

is this compatible with Primitive+?

this seems like a pretty cool idea for a mod. i tested it for use on my server but infinite energy is bad... i was having the same issue as others... materializing items that used up no energy. would be great if you fixed it i might give it another try.

I've noticed a bug where if you spawn carrots or potatoes hen it doesn't use energy and you basically end up with infinite amounts of energy if you keep doing it.
