I designed this for the battle at the Alien Outpost. It's small, maneuverable, conservative on fuel, and...built like a tank! No warp drive or gravity gen, just a small ammo box and cargo box (keep some oxygen in there). Artillery turret for the base, 2 pulse lasers for the drones. Just hang out next to an asteroid about 900 m from the base and strafe while the artillery knocks out the core!
