Optimizebound

The concept of this mod is sound, but the implementation is not. Due to how Starbound loads mods, this runs the risk of clashing with any mod that makes alterations to vanilla image assets. Additionally, PNGGauntlet is NOT lossless. It literally strips palette information from PNGs, which is lossy by nature.

If one really must use Optimizebound, be prepared for conflicts with Starbound Patch Project, OpenStarbound, and any mod that alters vanilla PNGs. This was good for "mostly vanilla" play, but not modern or heavily modded play.

I know this mod wont ever get updates but for future reference and to help others, THIS MOD BREAKS THE MENUS OF OPENSTARBOUND. Use a different mod if you intend to use openstarbound

NAH.
The game runs better on:
-a 4-core and up CPU compared to a dual core CPU
-SSD instead of HDD
-without a GPU (including on-board solutions Intel HD and AMD APU) Steam itself wouldn't even run due to chromium engine demanding active GPU instead of a "basic display driver"
There's also Futara Dragon to optimize the engine.

BY THE GODS, I never thought it possible! No lag on my very full ship! I have always been BIG on decorating and I fill spaces to make them look lived-in. I also store a ton of junk because I have ADHD. For a while I believed my latest PC upgrade would mean I could scoot past my usual Starbound ship stuttering, but nope. It had begun, and I once again dreaded traversing the length of my vessel. This time I sought a solution and here I found it. Thank you!

Yeah , this doesn't fix the fps drop if you're looking for that I've tried most mods and it's not one of tham that Claim to fix it It just The way it is now with The processing of the game and it Sad because I remember playing the game long time a go And it wasn't this bad

No need for OpenStarbound any more, guys.
