Glad to hear your prople was fixed! You're welcome to try making your own version, but I doubt you'll be able to get it any higher quality than it is here. This version was made using the animation as it's stored in the game files, not by recording the game itself. If you want, you can try editing the black bars out of that file. It's located in your steam directory at:

steamapps > common > Dust An Elysian Tail > content > video > worldmap_video_00

Hey thanks for replying, the fps issue was on my end as it just fixed itself the next time i tried it, but the border on the top and bottom are just the resolution or part of the video. I got to this animation myself in the actual game and recorded for a while, but that version has falling leaves, a campfire, and a map at the bottom, plus the same black border but on the right side lol. You mind if I try cropping and looping my video into a wallpaper? I think the black edge is just a common editing error with this little animation.

It might be stupid of me to ask, but have you checked to make sure you have the playback rate set to 100 in the wallpaper browser, and that you haven't got the FPS set too low in the settings menu? I can't think of any other reason why it wouldn't look as it does in the video (especially since that's the exact video used in the wallpaper!)

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by the borders being off; are you referring to the thin black line at the top? I just noticed that myself, and it's bugging me a bit, but I'm not really sure how to fix it.

I like it! but for me, the borders are off and the framerate is really slow.
