Half-Life 2: Episode 1 background01a

This is a background menu video from the game Half-Life 2: Episode 1. It was created by enabling the developer console, then using the command "map background01a". After loading the map, the video was captured uncompressed with FRAPS and then encoded to H.264 High Quality.

I left the sound in the video in case people actually wanted it, but for many of the Valve game backgrounds, the sound does not loop very well. Wallpaper Engine lets you adjust the sound, so I recommend setting the volume to 0 if you do not like it. It was very challenging to make a seamless loop for the video as well as the audio, and I apologize if it's not to your liking.
