Question about the Freeze Status Effect: Does it prevent you from drawing the rest of your starting hand when drawn (drawn as the 3rd card, no 4th or 5th card), or does it just prevent you from gaining the draw effect of cards?

Stayed up way too late and pushed updates to all of my mods to fix issues caused by the last few Tabletop Simulator updates.

Enjoy!

Small update today.

XP of Badges are now 1:1 with their cost. This will still allow games to be close, but will help mitigate the issue of whoever bought the last badge or two generally wins the game.

The patch released yesterday was causing an issue with getting GUIDs of objects within a scripting zone, if there was a 3DText in that scripting zone already (the Line-Up slots are numbered 1 - 5). Fortunately, a dev was able to release a hotfix fairly quickly to correct the issue.

The latest update has broken the refill line up script when a turn ends. Would you be able to create a new script?

Just as an additional example of card resolution, let's look at the card "Acro Bike." If you play "Acro Bike" and draw a Status Condition with it, what happens? Well, as you must FULLY resolve a card when it is played before anything else has a chance to trigger, you can choose to discard the Status Condition before it comes into play automatically.

@Blame_Others
You get the effects of the card you played that turn. When you play any card, you fully resolve it's effect before you can do anything else.

For example, if you play Mawile, you resolve its effect when it is played (+2 Energy and the Attack). As "Mawile" has the Mega Symbol referenced on the card "Mega Evolution", you may now choose to Mega Evolve if you like. If you do, you destroy the Mega Evolution card that was in front of your Trainer, put the "Mawile" under your Trainer, then gain "Mega Mawile" and put it into your discard pile.

Any Energy you gain or abilities that trigger during a turn essentially go into a pool. It doesn't matter if the card is still in play after it has resolved.

Just as the base game, you must play a Pokemon on the same turn you wish to Evolve or Mega Evolve it. You may Evolve it at any time during that turn. You do get the effects of the base card when played, though the Evolved/Mega Evolved card goes to your discard pile.

Can I use a Pokemon's effects and then Mega Evolve it, or does the decision to Mega Evolve have to occur as soon as I play it?
