Yes, I try to make my video-based wallpapers faily "seemless" (though it depends on the particular type of wallpaper I'm making). I think I've been improving at it. It's something I enjoy doing and sharing. Cheers! :)

I suppose you could download the video, then play it in a media player of you choice in fullscreen and enjoy it that way if you wanted. If the video is played as a loop it's fairly seamless as well.
Keep in mind though that YouTube downgrades the video quality a bit though as it's processed, so it would look better, and as an actual "wallpaper", if you used it with Wallpaper Engine instead.
