Instant Quest Battles

This mod changes the Legendary Lord quest lines, so that instead of multiple side quests and events all of the background story within those is combined into one placeholder mission, which instantly completes and triggers the next quest battle. This enables you to choose to read the lore or skip right to the battles.

Some quest lines have multiple battles, some of which are entirely different and are based on what choice you pick during the missions, others have two identical versions with one being harder.
I lined up the quests so that you always get the most difficult versions of two otherwise identical battles and also that you get to experience all of the different quest battles in a quest line.

This change keeps it challenging, yet much less annoying than the existing side quests such as "deploy a hero at the other end of the world", "raid this faraway region with an army" or "recruit X numbers of high level units into an army" and actually allows you to finish quest lines in a realistic timeframe after they start.

Many people never bother finishing the default quests as they are annoying, distract from the main game too much, often take forever to complete or are very unreasonable in relation to the levels at which the quest start and miss out on getting to use each Legendary Lord's unique artifact items.


Should be compatible with all other mods that do not modify the quest script.
