Major Changes & New Features:
  • Eternity Traditions: An exclusive Tradition Tree that expands on the mechanics of core Asari Civics
  • Cycle of Eternity: Amaranthine species go through three life stages, leaders gaining new benefits as they age
  • Asari Republics:
    > Ecclesia Trends serve as mini-factions that can spawn on planets
    > Eternity unlocks additional functionality and interactions
    > Pops and leaders both thrive in an ethically diverse empire
  • Asari Corporate Interests (Megacorp DLC):
    > Gains additional benefits from recieving (or extorting) Favors
    > Favors leave a Lingering Impression on its business partners
    > With Eternity, Favors and Lingering Impression unlock even more benefits
    > Infinite Growth just like the Investors ordered... if you can afford the price
  • Asari Ascendancy:
    > Gain Influence from researching new Technologies
    > Adopt Eternity to gain access to Destiny Edicts, offering permanent, stacking diplomatic bonuses

Did the latest patch (aug 21st) bonk the economy of the asari republics somehow? I'm starting on a big minus of food and minerals, somewhere around -30. Or is this intended and I just don't remember that being the case before? :sleepyjill:

You're welcome on the point about variants there are a total of 15 asari variants in the galaxy also their population as of 2428 is 645k. Lastly there are a few cases where they completely replaced one species as the founder species of an empire and for some reason they are being shown as the founder species of a hive mind, even though there are no asari in that hive minds space.

@Swaze21: Hmm... that isn't supposed to happen, but I can imagine what caused that. The new formula involves some flat modifiers that don't scale with the size of pop groups and planet capacity. So it's possible that AI's propensity for randomly generating new genemods for no reason is creating a lot of tiny populations that disproportionately explode in size...

At least that's my theory. I'll run some tests and see if I can tweak it a little. Thank you for the report!

Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else but for some reason the Asari now reproduce like fucking rabbits. It's insane there are over 500k Asari in my galaxy right now and they've overtaken multiple empires and out number the native races, IDK if its something with the new pop growth stuff but it's insane how fast the populate

@OctoberBrigade: No, there should be no new requirements. The prescripted empire setup should still be the same as months ago.

@dr_pasha: Hmm... There should be no reason for it to be localised. It's safe to ignore. I'll look into shushing the log about it.

Every time I try to setup a game with the Asari factions included I get this error: Your current design contains errors or dlc that's been disabled. I was able to use this mod a few months ago. Do we need the newer dlc to use it due to an update?

Thats okay thanks a lot for taking the time to reply to me! I understand spaghetti code. Will play as the Republics and pretend its a post-Reaper War re-delving into the Temple of Athame then haha
