This is a "light" version of an old ship AI mod I originally made and posted to the Chucklefish Forums some time ago(link found above). It basically changes the default ship AI for the six base races of Starbound into Bill Cipher from Gravity Falls.

One of the defining features of the original mod in Early Access was custom text to fit CIPHER's personality, but I'm having trouble implementing that in current versions of Starbound without ending up with weirdness regarding custom race mods and their ship AIs, as well as any mod that uses a tech station different from the six default races(such as custom ships and whatnot). Instead of creating more work for myself now and later, I've decided to re-release just the barebones visual parts of the mod in an updated format for those who don't mind that the personality of CIPHER is watered down/nonexistent.

This version of the mod has almost no changes implemented except the visual assets for tech stations/AI stations on ships, and the AI images themselves. This means you can install or uninstall this mod without any problems, and it is purely clientside to my knowledge.

Known issues/quirks:

- One of the AI animation cycles is changed to stop once it's played instead of loop due to the way CIPHER is animated in that particular instance - this isn't very noticeable however.

- Only the six default races of Starbound currently have access to CIPHER. This is intended. Adding custom race compatibility is something I would have to do manually for every specific race.

- This mod probably won't work too well with any other mods that modify the default six AIs. It'd be a likely scenario for only one of the mods installed to actually have an effect in-game anyways...

- CIPHER has no defining personality with this mod. Currently CIPHER is an early, visually modified SAIL, and all of the default text remains the same. Once I learn how to edit the AI text on a race-specific basis(if this is possible at all; if not now, then hopefully in the future), I'll work on a "full" version of the mod with modified text entries.

- The intro mission doesn't show CIPHER at all(it will show default SAIL for your race instead) until the "wake up" text messages have been displayed and the screen is fully visible. After that part, CIPHER should display normally. I'm not sure if I can work around this without outright replacing the default visual assets themselves, rather than redirecting the AI configs to use a new image. If it becomes an issue I'll just do the former.

- If a race mod's ship uses one of the default tech stations instead of a new one, CIPHER will be the AI popping up to say things near the beginning of the game, even if the rest of the time the AI is something else. Don't know how to work around this.
