Funny story about the origins of these boots. It’s not uncommon for 3d artist to reuse or modify models they have already made if they need to make a similar item later. It just saves time. So was the case with these boots. I made these boots a year and half ago for Miss Pauling for the custom safari themed Miss Pauling Model Maxxy and I worked on. Later I got recruited for a canned Saxxi movie called “The Amazing Mr. Hattington” and I had to make a super hero Scout. For that I refitted the boots to the Scout. When the Mayann Project was revealed I knew I could make a set that used these boots so I tweaked the boots even more to fit the Scout better and edited the model to make the item use less polygons… I saved so much that I decided to make a gun holster and tactical belt to go with it. Talk about efficient laziness!
