Combinable Augments

Description
Combinable Augments
Combinable Augments allows you to combine multiple augments, collars, or fishing lures into a single powerful item.

1 Augment to rule them all is this mod's goal.

What can you do with this mod?
- Combine EPP augments.
- Combine EEPs to merge their augments.
- Transfer Augments from one EPP to another.
- Combine EPPs with augments to add more augments to your current EPP.
- Combine Collar augments.
- Combine filled capture pods to merge their collars.
- Transfer Collars from one filled capture pod to another.
- Extract augments or collars out of EPPs, filled capture pods, combined augments or combined collars
- Extract specific augments or collars out of EPPs, filled capture pods, combined augments or combined collars
- Extract all augments or collars out of EPPs, filled capture pods, combined augments or combined collars
- Manage augments or collars from any modded item that can hold them.
- Craft combined lure and reels using the agricultural table.

How to get started
You'll need a fully upgraded inventor table (architect table) to craft the Augment Combiner.

To craft the augment combiner, you'll need:
- 10 Durasteel Bars.
- 5 Silver Bars.
- 2 Silicone Boards.
- 10 Wires
- 1 Battery

A note for those who use Fracking Universe
Do not use the augment extractor to extract combined augments. It doesn't preserve the data correctly when extracting the augment, and the augment combiner won't recognize them. Use the augment combiner's extraction features instead. If you use the augment extractor to extract a combined augment, reapply it onto an EPP using a right-click to regain control of the augments in the augment combiner.

Can I combine/extract from augment compatible armours from [insert mod name here]?
As long as augments or collars can be installed on it, any item will work regardless of its source.

Is this compatible with augments from [insert mod name here]?
The short answer is yes. The augment combiner will always be able to combine, apply, and extract any augment or collar from any mod.

The long answer breaks down into three key points:
1. Combining or installing augments and collars using the augment combiner will always work regardless of which mod they came from.
2. Extracting augments or collars from anything (armours, collars, combined augments, combined collars, etc) will always work without exception.
3. Installing any non-combined augment or collar by right-clicking them onto a piece of equipment does not preserve the item ID of the augment. The augment combiner uses the data left behind after the right-click to identify the augment or collar. If the augment combiner can't identify the original item, it will instead create a "vanilla-friendly" version of that augment or collar that matches the original item as closely as possible. These "vanilla-friendly" counterparts behave identically to their original counterpart. The only caveat is that the item ID will change, preventing you from using it as a crafting ingredient. Mod authors can prevent this by using a .patch file to add the relevant information to the "combinableaugments.config" file. Combined augments and collars do not suffer from this problem, as they store additional data to identify which items were used to create the augment. The game preserves this extra data when using a right-click.

A strange question, but does this work with mods that modify existing Augments, like the Better Augments Mod?
https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=735169732

Because it not only adds new "hybrid" Augments, but also modifies the base game's Augments.

I'm not sure what happened then, because I can't duplicate it either. It works as intended. My bad.

it shouldn't be limited. Do you remember which collars/pods you combined together? I've tried to replicate this issue, but i can't seem to get it to happen on my end, it always combines just fine,

When I tried to combine the Glitchtop collar with more than one collar and extract them, it destroyed my Glitchtop collar. I don't know if collars only allow 2 combinations or if it's just the Glitchtop collar (FU). But it's the most valuable collar, so kind of a bummer.

I can combine the Glitchtop collar with one other collar tho, so I used Healing III.

This is the last Mod I have installed that even mentions Capture pods, gonna uninstall and see if the capture pods still kill monsters.

@Puzzler see this mod's description, it has always and will always be accurate since the game isn't getting any update anymore.
