Ten-Pin Bowling FPG 1.2

Description
What do Aperture employees do with what little recreation time they get?
Bowling of course!

Complete with "gutters", a fairly reliable ball return system and multiple ball launch options.

This is the "Faith Plate Gutter" edition.

Update 1.2: Added portalable surface under propulsion gel dropper which allows player to make an additional method for bowling the ball. Try it, it's fun!
See pic and/or instructional video: http://youtu.be/78TQ_siUv8s
Also added a laser grid so that when you finish a round you can easily "reset the bowling alley" (die) if you want to play another set.
Update 1.11: Made it so the faith plate launcher doesn't launch you into a pit if you accidently step on it.
Update 1.1: Massive redesign of launch area.
Ball now comes covered in orange goo, which may help reduce bounce (it just seems better, ok!)
Added fizzler so you can reset your portals or dispose of accidentally "returned" "pins".

@mechtakendall My favorite method is painting the floor with repulsion gel and bowling the ball by hand, feels the most like real bowling to me. (See video)

Yes, I tried all the different techniques, I found it to be a unique experience. My favorite was launching the ball and seeing how many turrets I could get in one shot (5 was my best). I was just pointing out the way to avoid things altogether if one wanted to (I actually did it by accident when I launched myself still holding the ball through the portal).

@mechtakendall I'm seriously thinking of moving the exit back to next to the starting door so you can just walk in and out as you please, as this level isn't meant to be a test, but an enjoyable recreation of bowling. Did you have fun doing the actual bowling? Did you try the different bowling techniques? I ask because I included at least 5 different ways to bowl the ball (the 3 different depth shafts only count as one) see if you can find them all.
Oh I should mention, I included a laser grid so that when you finish a round you can easily "reset the bowling alley" (die) if you want to play another set.

Neat! I was able to beat the turrets by launching myself with the ball to extreme left side, using the ball as a shield. Easy enough to send the ball back. Difficulty 1/10 Design 8/10

How is that missing the point? It is bowling, and I decided to bowl myself. Balls are gay, anyways.

@Everybody loves CHAWLZ! Sort of missing the point buddy, this particular map is not meant to be a puzzle to be "beat" but a recreation of bowling to played for enjoyment. I could have just as easily placed the exit next to the start door.
If you want a challenging puzzle as well as a unique concept, try my "Drain" test chamber, it has a water draining mechanic something noone else has done as far as I know.

I managed to beat it my taking down a couple of turrets, then launching myself and bunny-hopping behind the rest. Take that, rules!

Great alley, like the fact that it's sideways :) Innovative i'd say. I would apreciate if you would try out my bowling alley :)

That was a pretty interesting implementation of a bowling alley, quite different than my own. Still liked it!

@geneosis: The "multi-speed launch options" includes, 3x pits, 1x faith plate, 1x floor to ceiling infinite loop plus another technique.
Maybe I should move the faith plate back one square so players are less likely to launch themselves into the pit.
I loved your bowling btw, I changed mine to include your orange goo covered ball after I played it.
