BIG: Earlier Decapitations! (a Better Improvements for Gameplay mod)

If you're like me, you hate to wait. Waiting in line. Waiting for summer vacation. Waiting to get the skill perks to have the thrill of decapitating foes. It's frustrating! Well, wait no longer! Summer's here, there's no lines and no waiting. Even if you have a new character with no skill perks, you can start rolling heads now!

In the vanilla game each decapitation kill move has a condition requiring either the Devastating Blow two-handed skill perk, or the Savage Strike one-handed skill perk. The problem is you need to reach level 50 at the skills to add the perk, which takes far too long. This mod removes the perk requirements for the decapitation kill moves, so you can start cleaving heads from shoulders right away. It does not change the decapitation chance, which remains at 50%. To increase the decapitation chance to 75%, subscribe to the mod BIG: More Decapitations!.

Q. When can I start chopping off heads?
A. As soon as you subscribe.

Q. Even if I have no skill perks?
A. Yes, no perks are required.

Q. How often will I beahead foes?
A. Up to 50% of the time.

Q. Can I cut off heads even more often than that?
A. Yes! Just subscribe to this mod: BIG: More Decapitations.

Q. Will I get decapitating kill moves, too?
A. Yes, the kill cam will play decapitation kill moves, too.

Q. Can I increase the chance of seeing a kill move that removes the head?
A. Yes, if you subscribe to BIG: More Kill Moves!

Q. I'm subscribed. Why am I not cutting off any heads?
A. Make sure the mod is enabled and loads after BIG: More Kill Moves, if you are subscribed to that mod. On the Skyrim launch screen, select Data Files. Make sure this mod has a checkmark next to it. Use the Change Load Order button to move it lower than the other mod.

Q. Will mods that change the perk trees be compatible?
A. Yes! This mod doesn't change the perk trees.

Q. Will mods that change the percent chance to decapitate be compatible?
A. Yes! This mod doesn't change the percent chance to decapitate.

Q. What about mods that add new kill move animations?
A. They should be compatible, too.

Q. What will happen if I unsubscribe?
A. The perk requirements for beheading will be restored.

Q. Are there any bugs?
A. No known bugs. Let me know if you think you find any.

To make sure this mod loads, after subscribing, launch Skyrim, wait for the launch screen to display a message that all mods finished synchronizing, then exit Skyrim to the desktop. Relaunch Skyrim. The mod should now be loaded.



There are no known bugs. Please report any you think you find. Mods that change the percent chance for decapitations might be incompatible.



There's no need to unsubscribe. After subscribing, you may easily disable the mod at anytime:

1. Start the Skyrim launcher
   
2. Wait for it to display a message that mods finished synchronizing
   
3. Select Data Files
   
4. Remove the checkmark next to this mod
   
5. Select OK and Play
