IMPORTANT TO KNOW

What is "limited use"
These voice lines will work only on local servers and dedicated servers where this add-on is installed, and in single player. They CANNOT WORK on official Valve servers!

Miscellaneous menus
Some voice lines in these menus work only for L4D1 and some only for L4D2 characters.

Some voice lines can't always work
For some lines to work, certain conditions have to be met (for example, you must not be in fight). Also, many voice lines are not available in Scavenge and Survival.

When can't go idle
You can't go idle if you are the only player, or if all other players are already idle.

Note on switching characters
After switching characters, you will need to select your new character again to properly mount all of its character-specific menus.

Vocalizer in Versus and Scavenge on official servers
All add-ons are disabled when playing competitive modes on official Valve servers. However, you can follow my guide to make the vocalizer work there.

DEDICATED SERVER INSTALLATION
(for server admins only)

Install the add-on on your server, so players can use all radial menus and all responses:
  1. Download my vocalizer from GameMaps[www.gamemaps.com]
  2. Put the VPK file in \left4dead2\addons
  3. Restart your server

Hey my game occasionally does this thing where it reinstalls my add ons but this time when it reinstalled I couldn't use the vocalizer and can't see it in the options menu. I've re-subscribed and re opened my game but it won't work anymore. I don't suppose you have any ideas on how I can fix?

still the best vocalizer to this date

@Jakiy: The code is "vocalize SurvivorLeavingInitialCheckpoint". It's the very same trigger as leaving the initial safe room. Works good for L4D1 survivors, but it's not perfect for L4D2 survivors. I strongly suggest using my vocalizer instead because I've made the cooldown override in a different way.

@Ellis: This add-on is over 9 years old now and it's basically in final form. I have no plans on adding more things. If Valve updates L4D2 and changes official talker, I would most likely make vocalizer changes according to that. But otherwise no.

Do you still remember what code you said previously to bypass the vocalizer cooldown? It's fine if you don't want to make public but just let me know what that code is. I need it for my own use. Somehow I still get a bit of delay even on my own server. :steamsad:

Any plans on adding more vocalizations? It's been over a year since this was updated

no crediting, actual plagiarism, and now a comment remover
ion, i'd suggest going right for a proper legal complaint
that will definitely get some action from steam staff
you probably don't want others using unauthorized versions

Hello creator. Came to say that someone just stoled your addon and reuploaded it as himself. https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3560376827
