TestTraK NA

Description
TestTraK NA is an almost complete remake of the classic TestTraK route with a North American theme. The route includes multiple yards for different train types and servicing facilities for each. Two main loops run around the facility for testing purposes: High Speed Loop and Slow Speed Loop. There are also a few easter eggs scattered around the route, so have fun looking for those.

Due to the nature of the route, the Quick Drive scenarios are set up like a free roam in a way. When you load in your train, your destination will show behind you at the very end of the track. These are not meant to be stopped at, so have fun exploring the route instead.

Required DLC:

North Jersey Coast Line - http://steamproxy.com/steamstore/app/325970/

New York-New Haven - http://steamproxy.com/steamstore/app/258643/

European Loco & Asset Pack - http://steamproxy.com/steamstore/app/208300/

If you bought Train SImulator 2012 or before, you already have the European Loco & Asset Pack. If you bought Train Simulator 2013 or later you will need to purchase the DLC. This pack is included with some routes however, so double check the DLC page to see if you already own it.

Note: Despite this being a redo of TestTraK, you do NOT require the original TestTrak route. We have replaced all TestTraK assets with classic european assets so that anyone can use the route.
________________________________________________________

This is a graphically intensive route, so if you have a lower-end computer you may need to turn down some settings. However, if you can run high detail routes like North Jersey Coast or Marias Pass with no issues you should be fine. If you find any bugs or have any suggestions for the route, feel free to put them in the comments. We hope you enjoy!

This is great, a beautiful recreation of it. And I don't know how I happened to also have the original as I had only recently gotten the TS2020 Humble Bundle pack. But recently while playing with the route builder I was looking at my list of routes and saw one called "TestTrak" and made a quick free roam to see what it was, lol. Anyways, great job on this, a lot of fun to play around with.

This is a great route. The navigation from the start point to the High Speed Track is effortless. If you are driving a passenger consist you can even test out your load-unload at a handy platform enroute. Superelevated track sections merge seemlessly with the straight sections for a super smooth ride on a track with a 200mph speed limit. With no interuptions on the oval course it is possible to test out just about anything. Fom horsepower combinations with different consist weights to practicing better driving techniques. This course loads in a relatively good time when compared to other routes with the same amount of content.

Unfortunately this does not come with any scenarios, and the originals would require the Super Express Concept trainset which is no longer obtainable. The route does include quick drive compatibility however, and some scenarios may be released on the Workshop in the future.

Does this route include the original scenarios (and/or new ones)?

Hmm. A USA-ified Test Track. Nice.

Nevermind, it seems to be working now, it must have been still installing when I last checked.
