Developer notes

Once upon a time, a long time ago, relatively new space engineer named Kilroy created a ship called the Business End; and it was bad. http://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=434971874

I created it for the second UESC contest that I had ever entered “pirate frigate” and it finished dead last. While finishing dead last it also managed to pi$$ a whole bunch of people off because I exploited a loophole in the contest rules. This ship in all its terribleness stuck with me. I loved the idea of a ship with a stupidly powerful main cannon crammed into a medium frigate hull. I like to think that if this contest were held again today the older wiser Kilroy would submit this ship and not the monstrously ugly original ship. I believe that the focus of that contest was “a ship that punches above its weight class” and this class certainly does that and more.

Special thanks to w0lf3y who continues to be my partner in crime. He is invaluable for bouncing ideas around and pulling my head out of my a$$ when I’m stuck on a bad idea. I have him to thank for a better bridge placement and a snazzy main engine as well as the scripts for main cannon lights.
