Canora-pattern Aquila Lander

+++++Background Information+++++

The Aquila Lander is a small shuttle used by the Imperium to transport important personnel to and from Imperial starships in orbit and to the surface of planets. It can be seen on almost every single Imperial starship or world. The Lander is not a combat craft and it is only armed with a single nose-mounted weapon for defensive purposes.

The Lander is used as a transport for Imperial personnel including dignitaries, officials, Inquisitors, military commanders, and Planetary Governors. The Aquila Lander is named after the iconic crest of the Imperium of Man, the Aquila, due to the unique shape of its wings. It is normally capable of transporting up to seven passengers.

+++++Canora-pattern Aquila Lander+++++

When the Ruiner Covenant of the Ordo Reductor of the Adeptus Mechanicus were cut off from the Imperium in the anarchic Liberland Sector, they took action immediately to preserve their lives and thus valuable knowledge of technology. They salvaged fabricators and supplies from the wreckage of their Galleass-class void ship, the Ruiner. The planet they were stranded upon was known as Canora. After erecting a meager base of operations, the Ruiners assembled what came to be known as the Canora-pattern Aquila Lander.

Based on the ubiquitous Aquila Lander STC, the Canora-pattern eschews passenger capacity for more cargo and various equipment, making it more suited to long-range and remote exploration and surverying operations. Contact with local, primitive human life was made and then with hostile xenos and the decision was also made to up-gun the Lander with a new nose-mounted assault cannon with four barrels instead of the usual six. Extremely agile and suitable for long resourcing missions, it became a Ruiner mainstay in the sector.

+++++Other Information+++++

This SV is pretty decent overall, in my opinion. It only carries two passengers and comes armed with a gatling gun but this can be upgraded to suit your needs, of course. It has four fuel tanks, two generators, nine RCS modules, all internal thrusters (except for accelerating/braking normal thrusters), one O2 station, two O2 tanks, two cargo boxes, two fridges, and an ammo box in the nose. It also has a constructor integrated into the tail faring. It has more RCS units than it really needs but saw no reason to remove any of them.
