Description

IMDC F-85 Eagle Multi-purpose aircraft

The F-85 features 3 weapon slots and a lot of cargo space, which makes it suitable for both a light transport and a bomber/gunship role. With all its thrusters it is able to manoevre in space, atmosphere and on any planets or moons.
It is most agile with 2 afterburner thrusters and 2 hydrogen tanks.

Can’t wait to get into SE with a fresh start. It‘s gonna be all the same again. The bugs, glitches, the long wait for fixes, but hopefully also the fun and creativity with new mechanics.

this didn't age as well as i was hoping for, as it's design actually isn't too bad
but i did some extensive testing and, well, it got destroyed quickly by more modern ships with newer systems and weaponry

maybe the issue was turret placement, because a lot of the time the enemy ship was trailing directly behind mine (the f-85 eagle), and the front gatling turrets weren't able to hit it due to, well, being on the front

(i might just switch back to the hornets and kestrels instead)
