Perhaps some additionnal yield should be added for the Habitation, later in the tech tree, because this civilisation doesn't have any late game bonus at the moment.
Regarding the music, some traditionnal Québec folklore such as the OST from Sang Froid (for exemple, Les Deux Vendredi, by La Volée de Castors: https://youtu.be/3SS9yI8oVd8) would indeed give a more authentic feeling.
Just to mention it, I realized the ultimate forbidden fantasy of every hardcore Québécois nationalist while playing with this mod. I went to war against England (ON A NAVAL MAP LOL) and won; really won! London and most of the english cities became colonies of the Québécois Empire. Kind of the opposite of what happened IRL. Québec later became the first civilization to colonize space, earning a scientific victory.
Gloire à Samuel de Champlain!
Thanks for coming up with this mod idea! It was long anticipated.
- Ville de Québec should be changed to Québec. Adding "Ville de" is translated from "Quebec City" to differenciate the city from the province because the English language doesn't have a different grammatical article French does ("à Québec" versus "au Québec").
- Sorel-Tracy should be changed to Sorel, as it was named for centuries. Adding "Tracy" is pretty recent, due to recent city mergers.
- Did you rename the Quebec City city state to something else to make sure it doesn't show up while playing with the Mod?
- The unique Civ advantage appears as a built building in cities. You might want to check if it can be hidden.
- Except for the introductory Civ-specific music, there is no music during the rest of the game. You might want to make sure the Civ is tagged as a European Civ, for music and city/unit purposes.
Keep up the good work!
