This item came naturally when I decided I wanted to make a set to go along with the mask. After watching some Zorro movies and Princess Bride it became clear that for the chest item I would need a few ingredients to get the vibe I was going for: Puffy sleeves, a sash, and a lotta man cleavage. So after playing around a bit I concepted up this. The choker was a bit of a risk. I was worried that it might come off too feminine but I needed something to be around his neck to cover up the Spy’s Dress shirt. Most items that show the spy’s chest go the “bunched up spy mask” route to cover up this area. I didn’t want to do that as my mask was going to show skin down there and I felt it would look odd with a strip of cloth around his neck for no reason. Once I added the spy icon emblem I was happy with how it looked, as it added the right amount of flamboyant masculinity I was going for. Because you don’t want to sending off the wrong signals when you have been murdering side by side with only men for 7 years…
