The Extra Gatwick Express

Description
Aug 28, 2010. This weekend is a busy weekend at Gatwick Airport. Many people are returning home from from their holiday elsewhere. This weekend extra trains runs between Gatwick, London and Brighton with extra connections to Faversham and Dover and further west to Bristol and Plymouth via Southampton. Due to the vast amount of passengers, the back-up trains like class 421 is running along to have all travellers transported properly.
At Purley, a Steam Gala takes place this weekend. This results in extra steam hauled trains and steam specials along the London-Brighton line. Along the running passenger trains there are some freight trains. Some maintenance trains are also moving towards Haywards Heath and Merstham Fast line (Quarry tunnels) for maintenance service an track works starting at sunday. Enjoy the scenario with the class 442 and a lot of rail traffic. (This scenario requires a several additional assets) Have a nice run, Steamtrains Unlimited - R.C. de Visser
